London Street Brasserie is the second award-winning restaurant by owner and proprietor Paul Clerehugh. Opened in 2000 next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim and Michelin recognition and has also been voted restaurant of the year.

Lovingly called the LSB by regulars and locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area and a must visit for foodies.

Serving local produce to the highest standards this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

First visit here, (for lunch) the food was excellent & beautifully presented. Staff were lovely & very helpful. Service was quite slow but it was busy & we weren’t in a rush so it didn’t matter! Would definitely go again.

This has been our go to restaurant for special events for years, and the food did not disappoint. Great variety on offer and each dish selected was fantastic. Very good wines as specials as well, can recommend the white Rioja. Unfortunately, for the first time, we were really disappointed by the service. During the lunch we had 4 different servers, and by the end of the meal we felt as if we had been placed on the ignore table as other guests came after and left before us. The restaurant was not that busy, there were several unused tables. Fortunately we were in no hurry, but the service went beyond slow to indifference , which is unacceptable. For a restaurant that is normally fantastic, it was really disappointing, hopefully just a one off.

2 x dishes sent back due to being undercooked, staff were very receptive and understanding and removed these form our final bill - otherwise, a pleasant experience

Just so predictably good, if only there were more restaurants of this calibre in the Thames Valley. A great starter of smoked mackerel kedgeree, followed by calves liver on an original macedoine of vegetable. Lovely service

Have been here previously for a Sunday lunch which was fabulous, so when I was meeting 2 colleagues for lunch I recommended here. We had the set meal for £29.90. Portions were HUGE, service was amazing, food was fantastic. Will definitely be going back

Been there for my birthday. Really liked the atmosphere, staff were very polite, kind and friendly. We had a seafood starter which was just amazing and ribeye steak and duck breast for the mains. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful, always paid attention if we were out of drinks. The pleasant bonus for me was a small birthday cake, that made me feel happy so we’ve finished this evening by blowing my candle. Prices are a bit high, but you’ll get a great food and service though. So I’d recommend.
