Celebrated chef Pablo Salas brings Lona Cocina Tequileria to Fort Lauderdale Beach. Lona, offers an eclectic, modern twist on traditional Mexican cooking in a chic, yet funky environment. A diverse menu includes ceviches, crab-infused guacamole, tostadas, tacos, meats from the grill and shareable sides at an affordable price. The outdoor patio and bar offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean and beach serving a special menu of snacks, small plates and tacos as well as a selection of agave-centric craft cocktails, freshly-made margaritas, house-made sangrias, Micheladas (perfect for the beachfront vibe) and, for true tequila worshipers, agave flights. Private and semi-private dining options are available for groups of 10 to 200 guests.

Service was fine. Beach view was nice. Margarita was terrible. Food was average. Chips/salsa were not great. Overall disappointed. El Camino on Las Olas is a million times better in terms of food/drink, service, and atmosphere.

Well. It is the 2nd time we est at Lona. The food 3 mo ago was much better. It is not authentic any more. No true Mexican flavor.Now it is more Tex Mex than Mex…

We were very excited to try this place however it was very disappointing. The tacos came out cold and dry and had very minimal flavor. We also did not receive our drinks until well after our food was at the table. Very disappointing unfortunately.

Tourist trap. Waiter didn’t even ask how our food was (served cold and not touched). Just Handed us the bill. Don’t bother

Brunch on 08/18 was fabulous as always!! The DJ was pumping great music, service by the gentleman at the omelette station was amazing and the drinks were on point!! Food/drink value is great! We will definitely be back!
