Celebrated chef Pablo Salas brings Lona Cocina Tequileria to Fort Lauderdale Beach. Lona, offers an eclectic, modern twist on traditional Mexican cooking in a chic, yet funky environment. A diverse menu includes ceviches, crab-infused guacamole, tostadas, tacos, meats from the grill and shareable sides at an affordable price. The outdoor patio and bar offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean and beach serving a special menu of snacks, small plates and tacos as well as a selection of agave-centric craft cocktails, freshly-made margaritas, house-made sangrias, Micheladas (perfect for the beachfront vibe) and, for true tequila worshipers, agave flights. Private and semi-private dining options are available for groups of 10 to 200 guests.

Really cute restaurant and the view is Amazing. It was good but not what I would consider a special date night restaurant. It was our wedding anniversary but we decided not to have dessert or tell them since it was extremely crowded and busy. The tables are pretty close together so not the best spot for an intimate dinner but it’s perfect for friends and big family dinners.

Service was incredibly slow. Guac is really delicious. Lemonade served without ice was strange.

We came to dinner on Thursday because of the so called taco bar for $5 and special rate drinks. Our server Ishfaq handed us menus and we then had to ask about the socials, it was not explained to us. He said there was no taco bar, only a choice of 3 tacos with no additional toppings for $5.00. As soon as he realized we were there for the special, our server and quite rude. He took our drink order which tops 20 minutes to get and then finally took our taco order. After we got the taco, no one came back to check on us at all until we asked for the check. We were very disappointed as we are hotel guests. We expected a much better experience. If the hotel is going to advertise specials to hotel guests they should be truthful in their advertisement and also train staff to treat all customers respectfully.

The atmosphere at Lona was amazing, with stunning views that really set the tone for the evening. The food was good, but I was shocked to see a single chip with tuna for an appetizer was priced at $18—definitely a bit much for what it was. Also how are two people suppose to split that? The server was fine and I'll definitely be back, but I won’t be ordering that again. Thank you!!!🌮🍹

We enjoyed our dining experience and our waitress Claudia was very good! Friendly, attentive and always smiling. Great lobster quesadilla and margaritas. Fun to sit outside and take in the views. Will definitely be back when we return to Fort Lauderdale.

The carne asada fajitas were amazing! Would get those again. The chicken tacos were just so-so. We were hoping the complimentary chips and salsa would be better, but they tastes like they came out of a bag.

I truly enjoyed the Sunday Brunch here. It is an incredible deal and the food and drinks were flowing. Great view of the ocean too.
