Celebrated chef Pablo Salas brings Lona Cocina Tequileria to Fort Lauderdale Beach. Lona, offers an eclectic, modern twist on traditional Mexican cooking in a chic, yet funky environment. A diverse menu includes ceviches, crab-infused guacamole, tostadas, tacos, meats from the grill and shareable sides at an affordable price. The outdoor patio and bar offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean and beach serving a special menu of snacks, small plates and tacos as well as a selection of agave-centric craft cocktails, freshly-made margaritas, house-made sangrias, Micheladas (perfect for the beachfront vibe) and, for true tequila worshipers, agave flights. Private and semi-private dining options are available for groups of 10 to 200 guests.

Nice atmosphere with oceanfront views. Taco bar was amazing, as were the Baja tacos and margaritas!

Not what I expected! Lona is just a run off the mill kind of place. A block off the beach with mediocre service and food. Service was OK but could be better. The refried beans tasted like canned, and the corn tortillas need lots of improvement. I was looking to a nice sit down meal but was very disappointed.

Excellent food. Fish taco and the Shrimp taco were delicious. Nice atmosphere. Outside table. Our server was very personable and attentive. However there was a significant wait for our dessert and check due to the amount of tables he was assigned. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Prices were very reasonable.

Very pretty outdoor dining venue on the beach. We arrived at 5:00 pm for dinner on Sunday night. Seated outdoors. Very loud music even though it was outdoors- had to shout for conversation. We were approached by two different waiters at different times trying to take our order so it was confusing and this happened 2-3 times before it was straightened up. Restaurant was not even that busy. Drinks and starters were good but entree was only average
