Celebrated chef Pablo Salas brings Lona Cocina Tequileria to Fort Lauderdale Beach. Lona, offers an eclectic, modern twist on traditional Mexican cooking in a chic, yet funky environment. A diverse menu includes ceviches, crab-infused guacamole, tostadas, tacos, meats from the grill and shareable sides at an affordable price. The outdoor patio and bar offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean and beach serving a special menu of snacks, small plates and tacos as well as a selection of agave-centric craft cocktails, freshly-made margaritas, house-made sangrias, Micheladas (perfect for the beachfront vibe) and, for true tequila worshipers, agave flights. Private and semi-private dining options are available for groups of 10 to 200 guests.

Food was, overall, delicious!! Got the Lona Steak, which was very tender and juicy but a little light on seasoning, and the Lobster Quesadilla, which is absolutely a bust-get. We went for the Dine-In Lauderdale event which is an amazing value here, but only because they give you a free Lona Marg for each person (which is also delicious, but it offsets the price). Also can't beat eating on the beach, and Ken, our server, was very nice and responsive. Overall so so good, will be back!!

We sat to dinner and waited 10 minutes for a waiter to come by. Chips arrived with no salsa. We placed drink and food orders at same time. Food came out before water and drinks. Food was perfectly fine. Service on the other hand was terrible. Had to ask for water glasses to be refilled. Disappointing experience.

The food and service were fantastic. Salmon was delicious, guac needed more lime, carne asada tacos were great. But around 7:15 or so the music got so much louder my friend and I were screaming at each other to be heard. We were outside at a hightop and might have ordered more drinks and dessert but it was ridiculous. We actually wanted to catch up and the noise level made it impossible. This is not my first time here and I don't remember the noise being so ridiculous in the past. But this makes me not want to return.

Really liked it here. The atmosphere is fantastic, overlooking the beach. As soon as you sat down, they give you water and chips, their service is extremely efficient and very friendly. Food was fantastic. Frozen margarita was also fantastic, highly recommend.

I heard a lot of great things about this restaurant. Food was not very good, drink was not good. And the inside bar smelled so bad we had to be moved outside.

Food delicious, our server Richard had a great personality and gave great recommendation. There was a slightly funky smell in the restaurant when we first walked in tho.

Service was fine. Beach view was nice. Margarita was terrible. Food was average. Chips/salsa were not great. Overall disappointed. El Camino on Las Olas is a million times better in terms of food/drink, service, and atmosphere.
