Lola's Tapas and Wine Bar serves tasty Spanish cuisine and shareable plates. The casual atmosphere is suitable for a friendly outing, family dinner or romantic date. A rustic fountain in the middle of the dining area sets the mood, while Spanish decor and intimate lighting add to the festive ambiance. Lola's full bar offers cocktails, beer and other spirits. Takeout services are available as well.

The menu has numerous popular entrée's that are hearty, generous and satisfying. Tapas plates include options like camtinpalos, which is traditional Spanish sausage, patatas bravas, which feature fried potatoes in spicy tomato sauce, and almejas bilbaina, which is clams in tomato and pepper sauce. Lola's also has soups and salads, such as the pumpkin cream soup or lobster meat salad.

The place looked nice but the food was not good. The tortillas were nothing more than a tasteless fluffy omelette with chunks of potato. I've lived in Spain. A tortilla should have super thin slices of potato cooked to translucent goodness with onion and then layered with eggs to hold the mixture. It should be almost creamy and with a wonderful onion flavor. The tortilla at Lola's was disappointing. The calamari was also rubbery and overcooked and the peach sangria too sweet. Will look for better quality Spanish food elsewhere.

Great restaurant, but not really tapas. The portions are too big to be tapas. The price per dish is for regular portions, not tapas portions. The food is really good though.

Lola's is a gem of Hoboken. A true Tapas Bar with an array of choice options. Enjoyed the food, great service and the validate parking!

Food and service were enjoyable. The front doors were open which made it too warm inside, but I understand that is part of the ambiance.

Best Spanish/seafood in Hoboken! Make sure to try the grill octopus and seafood tamal. Great portions so 1-2 tapas per person is enough and get the vanilla ice cream with strawberry and home made raspberry sauce! It’s amazing, off the menu but one of the regulars put me onto it and it was the best! Delicious not thick and flavorful. You need to ask for it, ask the manager Cris or the main waiter Saul about it.
