Service was really bad and it wasn’t even that busy when we went on a Saturday night.. sat right near the kitchen and food was cold when it got to us. Server was the worse I’ve had in a while. Disappeared quite often for 20 minute increments.

Wonderful dinner and drinks- we shared the burrarra salad, crab cakes and steak. Great food and wonderful ambiance

We have come here many times, generally we recieved great service and great food. However, this last visit will unfortunately be our last. The service was pathetic. We ordered our drinks right away, 10-15 minutes later we ordered our food. We ended up getting our food before our drinks. For one old fashion, and a martini it took 45 minutes. At this point in the evening there was a total of 4 tables with patrons. The French dip was cold somehow, and my wife’s pasta was bland. The second round of drinks took 25 minutes, and were delivered with the check. Not sure if we came in a off night with the “B” team working, but this was not the normal standard. It’s actually very sad because this was a great hidden gem for awhile.

One of the most underrated restaurants in Chicago! Not 1 item on the menu I wouldn’t recommend.

Everything we ordered was outstanding! From the salad, burrata, pan seared chicken, the fries, the skewers, steak frites, shrimp pasta…. The drinks were fabulous too! …especially the ginger/turmeric mocktail. Lola’s is quite possibly the best kept secret! We will be back!

First time here and the food was really good. Got the Chop Salad which was fantastic, the Burger was good as well as the French Dip. We always get meatballs any restaurant we got to. Their meatballs were good because of the sauce, but tasted a little burnt.

Our overall experience was highly disappointing. Although apologetic, it took our server 20 minutes to greet us and take our drink orders. When we asked if they had any bread for the table, the expression on his face was like I had asked for oxtail soup. Three of us ordered the steak frites, all at different temperatures. I’m not quite sure how they decided to distribute them to the table, but the temperatures were all around medium well to well done. In addition to the steak, fries, and another person’s salmon, the amount of salt they used in the preparation or seasoning of the food was excessive. Perhaps this was an off night for this restaurant, but given the choices in Fulton market, this was our first and last time to dine at Lola’s.

My party of 4 really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious, and the mood was very cozy, yet sexy. Cute date night spot or girls' night out spot. Our waiter seemed a little overwhelmed and messed up our order a little... but overall, it was a good experience.
