First time here after reading great reviews and seeing their award history. Wow! An absolutely incredible meal. We had the filet and the tuna entrees. Both were simply incredible with the flavor profile off the chart. Really, really enjoyed both meals and could not decide which was the better of the two. Desert was amazing, the frozen coconut banana souffle was soooo good. We'd come back just for that! Service was good, but not great and did not match the quality of the food or the price. We had to hail down a server twice to get attention and that should NEVER be the case at a high quality restaurant like this, especially when the restaurant was not crowded at all.

This is the perfect location for a romantic dinner or if you want to really treat yourself to a luxurious experience. The setting is intimate with a limited number of guests, elegant rustic decor and a stunning view of a beautiful waterfall. The food is high quality with surprising elements that add interest to the meal. We look forward to returning.

The Elk was extremely gamy. Cooked well just didn't really enjoy the taste or amount or sweetness on the plate. Service from the time we walked in left a lot to be desired. The gentleman we check in with was very matter fact and barely engaged us, and the server was not attentive at all. Didnt ask if we needed anything during the course of the meal, offered to fill the other two gentleman's drink I was with, but never asked me. And when I gave him my card for the check, he returned it to my guest. Seemed to have some sort of issue with engaging me....I wonder why! My guests enjoyed their bison and I always enjoy the bison there. But I'm not sure I will be back. The most pleasant person was the valet. And he was awesome. The ambience is romantic and peaceful. Great date spot or business meeting location, but for myself it isn't worth the lack luster service and attitude.

We go here for special occasions. Romantic, cozy and scenic! You can't go wrong. It is pricey but worth the splurge. Food is delicious and service has always been good. In my opinion, one of the best eating establishments in SLC area.

Log Haven impresses as usual. The food and scenery are excellent, and the new menu has several additions we enjoyed. I highly recommend going for a formal dining experience in the mountain setting.

Such a great location. Really enjoyed the meal and fine dining. There was no rush from servers and was a peaceful lovely night on the patio.

Gorgeous place for a celebratory evening. The canyon is a beautiful drive up from Salt lake. In a place like this with exquisite natural beauty, the food often suffers, but the chef here obviously forgot about that possibility and pour heart and soul and considerable talent into perfecting some exquisite dishes. Couldn't find a single fault with our crab cakes starter and the seared crusted tuna tatake and the elk were just beautiful. Service was relaxed and happy and we booked for 5:30 and they gave us the best table in the venue without our even asking. Incredible view out into the canyon. Our 37th anniversary and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Fabulous!

The experience was pretty good, this is definitely a high end restaurant with a lot of wonderful features. For the price of the food, I was expecting more out of the entree but I found it quite flavorless. Proceed with caution because “medium rare” means “rare” so expect to either order up a temperature or have your food be quite raw. Appetizer and dessert was fantastic though!
