Lockside is located in the heart of Great Bridge right on the water. Our warm and inviting atmosphere will make you feel at home with out all the work of preparing your favorite dishes. At Lockside, we are proud to support our local fishermen with purchasing local seafood and fresh produce from local farmers. Though our restaurant is new, our chefs have a combined experience of over 30 years providing fresh and innovative culinary ideas. Come join us for Brunch and Dinner.

Service was great. Only knock out of many wines and a few fish dishes. Very relaxing atmosphere

I can’t believe how empty this place was. It was a wonderful dinner. All the food was amazing. We had a diverse crowd with diverse needs, and they met all of them. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had 5:00 reservations for Sunday, May12. We were seated promptly and our orders were taken. After 30 minutes, we are told that they had run out of filet mignon that my wife had ordered, so she ordered the sirloin. I had originally ordered the halibut special. After another 30 minutes, I'm told that they ran out of that too. So I changed my order. Bottom line is that it was 90 minutes before we had our dinners served. Unacceptable way to treat your customers.

The meatloaf was the best I’ve ever had and I’m 56! The portion size was spot on! And the broccoli that accompanied the meatloaf and mashed potatoes , was steamed to perfection! This restaurant knows its customers!!

Food was very good Etouffee was a little salty but the avocado & crab salad was sheer perfection. The view out over the water was very peaceful.

I made a Valentine’s Day reservation and was shocked when we got there and told the menu didn’t start until 5 pm. I was they would have told me that when I called. The stuffed oysters were barely warm and not good at all. But all the other did were had was very good.

Had reserved table for 6 for my elderly aunt s last dinner in the Hampton Roads area. She is moving to Maryland on Monday. Had requested a table away from the door due to cold weather, every time the door opened a cold air blast came in. I called and specifically asked again for a table away from the door before we arrived. When our first parties arrived they were placed at the first table right by the door, in the middle of the restaurant. When I arrived I complained and was told sorry, they had a party of 20 coming in and could not move us. The rest of our party had already seated, and had jackets still on and draped on their legs because it was so cold by that door. We went on OpenTable and booked another restaurant nearby and left. We frequent Lockside all year long -- but we will no longer spend our money there. They are always slow to bring food to the table, and are staffed with teenagers.

We love Lockside. The cuscus was over cooked. Scallops were awesome!
