We were late for our reservation due to traffic and had a show to catch but they accommodated us (party of four) and we got out on time. The food and drinks were excellent. It was our server’s first day but he was charming and helpful. Will go back for the oysters! Great location too!

Service, especially the hostess and aimless manager, were lacking. Our server was trying to overcome their deficiencies. Food was pretty good, other than an overcooked steak. Crowd was loud and rowdy.

We had a nice meal, and service was very good. There was a bit of a mix-up with our cocktails, but it was remedied pretty quickly. The charcuterie board, fried oysters with fries, and swordfish were all very good. We’ll be back before or after events at the Kimmel Center.

First time at Loch before orchestra. We had a reservation and admittedly arrived 10 minutes late, but the hostess station was chaotic and she kept saying she had to check on the table - 3 times before we were finally seated. There were plenty of empty tables available, so not sure what the issue was We ordered calamari to share as an appetizer, which was good. Tasty but a bit chewy. Then fish and chips which was a large meaty portion and single crab cake. The crab cake was small (4-5 oz) for $32 - it was jumbo lump and delicious, but only luke warm. Fries were very good, though. We asked for a 2nd glass of wine and coke, which took 10 minutes to bring. At that point we were getting close to curtain time, so we asked for the check. Another 10 minutes! Overall food was good, but over-priced. Service was pleasant but slow. Ambience was cavernous - nothing special. So while convenient for pre or post theater, wouldn't run back and hesitate to recommend.

It’s new and they need a lot of work. Service is slow, servers don’t know the food at the raw bar, oysters are fair at best and raw clams not especially tasty, baked oysters terrible (get recipe from Dragos in New Orleans …. the best). The ambience is fine but they need to train their staff better or hire people with more experience. I hope things improve dramatically because of their location across from The Kimmel Center.

The food and service were excellent and we had a very lovely table along the window overlooking the Kimmel Center. It still takes very long for drinks to arrive and the bartending side of the house needs improvement. But when the drinks finally arrived, they were outstanding.
