The food was overall good. Avoid any dishes that are New Orleans specials - you’ll be sorely disappointed by the presentation, ingredients, and quantity compared to what the dish is supposed to be. Service was fine but the kitchen pacing was a mess. We waited 30 minutes for our raw oysters, and another 30 for appetizers, and then another 30 for the mains. This was for brunch too, so it wasn’t like any of the dishes were complicated or should have taken such a long time. The real kicker was the maître d’ did not know how to use the seating software. She turned away multiple groups or made them sit outside on a chilly day, saying the restaurant was fully reserved. I was able to pop on OpenTable and make a reservation, then check in 15 minutes later and get seated indoors. She seemed nice, so I think she just had no idea how to see what tables were truly reserved versus what tables were available. Not my top pick for brunch when so many other places have the dining experience, food, and pacing figured out, but the seafood-heavy menu has some good items you won’t see elsewhere.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Loch Bar, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared to perfection. The fried oysters were especially a standout—crispy, flavorful, and fresh! The drinks were equally impressive, with a great selection of cocktails that complemented the meal nicely. The ambiance added a lovely touch, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a place to enjoy with friends or a nice evening out, I highly recommend Loch Bar for its wonderful food, great vibe, and attentive service!

Really nice pre theater option. The seafood is some of the freshest I've seen in the city.

Excellent dinner tonight. John the bartender that ok care of us. Great employee you have w him. He is on top of his game and it was busy tonight. We really enjoyed our gumbo soup, cheeseburger, mussels and fish and chips. Delicious. A+ all around.

A wonderful dining experience. My wife and I had dinner prior to a performance at the Academy of Music. It was a very enjoyable experience!

Delightful lunch, great service, very friendly staff . Pricey especially wine & cocktails. I wish they had smaller portions for luncheon menu. We left at least half of our salads because we were going to a theatre matinee. Smaller portions, less waste and reduce the prices and it would be perfect
