We had a good time. The restaurant is new, it’s shiny and the staff will work very hard for you. Beginning with my first call to the restaurant to find if they have valet parking (they do). To, the host who was professional, well dressed and welcoming. To the bartender that let me try two roses before selecting, to the waitstaff at the tables. We arrived early for happy hour (which ends at 6pm) and stayed for dinner. I liked the caviar options. Live music was just setting up as we were leaving at 9pm. We will be back.

DO NOT COMBINE DINNER WITH A SHOW! We sat 90 minutes before our show, had already preselected our order before entering and ordered immediately. After sitting for 75 minutes, we were given a glass of wine, a lemonade, 4 oysters and $20 app. Staff was advised upon sitting of show time. We had to cancel our entire meal and leave starving for 3 hour show. No one seemed to care they ruined my special celebration with my son of his 1st day as an 8th grader and 1st big broadway musical. Still managed to charge me $77. Very disappointing. No respect for the theatre and located in heart of theatre district.

We opted to eat outside in the patio area given the pleasant weather and the energetic center city vibes. That gave us the option of the Happy Hour menus, which we used. Our meal (shared by 2) consisted of 2 dozen of the "house" oysters, the tuna poke, the scallops, and the cobb salad. Each dish was well presented and very tasty. We found the meal filling and satisfying. Finally, the server was a joy to have assist us.

It was our anniversary and they treated us well - champagne , cake etc.. food was good and I recommend it !!!

I will preface this review with the fact that we had lunch on Labor Day Monday and that all staff member were very pleasant. Nonetheless, there were items on the menu that were unavailable and one of our diners received her meal twenty minutes before the other two did, which was really awkward. They did explain that they had an issue with the fryer, but they should have taken our friends plate back and kept it warm or remade her plate to come out with ours. That's what I would expect from a restaurant like this. Still the restaurant was beautiful. Light, open, airy. But I am not sure I will be back any time soon with all of the wonderful choices we have in Philly.

First time at Loch Bar and had a great experience! The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Julian started us off and was so personable and attentive. Kivuto was our main server and made great recommendations on must-trys, and was a joy to interact with as well. The Maine Lobster Roll was a definite highlight - perfectly cooked, tender lobster and the roll was delish. We also had the Shrimp Roll, Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Oysters, a variety of fresh oysters, the Strawberry Cheesecake, and a variety of cocktails. All tasty, no complaints. Will definitely be back!

We had a server by the name Antoinette and from the moment we sat down she definitely did not seem like she knew what she was doing. Our food came out at different times, my friend never received her order, one of my drinks never came. Thank goodness for the other staff. Julian and one of the lady waitresses with blonde hair (I forget her name). Even the managers were not that helpful. One manager came out to ask if everything was ok and we said no then she was never to be seen again LOL. This was my first time here - my friends enjoyed this place before so they decided to return. I honestly would’ve given this place a 1 star if it wasn’t for the 2 waiter / waitress that saved it. The food was decent but hard to enjoy when some of it never arrived

I really enjoyed my first experience dining here! The food was amazing, the ambiance was great and the staff was attentive which made my solo experience feel relaxed! I will for sure return!

Not our first time. Food continues to be excellent. Our waitperson Julian was fantastic. Shout outs to Holly and Jason. Everyone was great. We also met Jerome the new general manager. Loch Bar is in good hands. Will be returning soon.

Beautiful ambiance, entrees were delicious (Maryland Crab Cake and Steak Frites), and serving-sizes were perfect. My adult Goddaughter and I challenge one another to try new things, and we wanted to have a nice night out in the City of Brotherly love during the unofficial last weekend of the summer, Labor Day. We decided on raw oysters for the first time at a restaurant we'd never been to. While we had a great time together, there was a significant miss on management's part, and some compassion could have been appreciated. We ordered the petit Seafood Tower and we shared with the wait person that it was our first time eating raw oysters, and we even asked her for tips. She asked if we wanted to hold the entrees until after we finished the raw food, and we said yes. The entree's came out shortly after the raw food did, and being new to the raw food experience, we didn't fully understand the impact, so we didn't make a fuss. The manager quickly came over and apologized for the early delivery of our entrees, and she looked concerned, so we let her know it was fine, and continued enjoying our night. We soon learned that it wasn't fine, as 2/3 of the tray was wasted, because we didn't have time to eat much, and when the ice melted it entered the raw oyster and clam shells, which wasn't appealing, so we no longer wanted them. We were not allowed to take any of the seafood plate home due to the restaurant's policy on raw food, which made it clear as to why the manager was so concerned over the initial mistake. As a show of good faith, once we asked to take the seafood home, because we couldn't eat it there, we should have been compensated for their mistake, as their untimely delivery shifted which portion of the meal we were able to focus on. Common sense shifted us to the hot food, so we could enjoy it while it was hot. The manager's apology didn't mean anything without an attempt to right the wrong. #Accountability #ConsiderTheClientExperience #KnowBetterDoBetter
