First time here , had a small hiccup when my meal came out before my appetizer but overall very great service , food was great , drinks were great as well I will be back

I visited during restaurant week in a party of 5 celebrating 2 birthdays. We had a 6:45 reservation and we were told the were preparing our table as we had drinks at the bar. At about 7 pm the showed me a table of two 2 tops pushed together that could not have seated us comfortably. They assured us the had another table that was turning over and we’d be sat shortly. Meanwhile we noticed that there were 2 6 tops with 3 people sat at each just starting their meals (poor host desk table mgmt). By 7:30 they sat us at a small booth that was no better than the 4 top. While pouring water the server dropped and broke a glass and water spilled all over me. The host, to his credit, was still trying to identify a table for us to eat comfortably. They moved us to a 6 top by 7:50, an hour later than our reservation time. There were no complaints about the food. After we had eaten a manager came over to inquire about our visit and we shared everything that happened he apologized halfheartedly and walked away. There was no acknowledgment of the birthdays in our party and I had to search for our server to settle the check. All 5 of us have experience in the hospitality or retail industry. The service was flat out abysmal and this restaurant did not live up to the first standard of food service which is to provide excellent service. This was not fine dining. I was embarrassed to take my friends to a restaurant we had heard so much about. My experience did add to the pride we have in our city. We are grateful to the bartender who was the only one who acknowledged the failure to privide what could have been a wonderful celebration.

Good was delicious! The specialty drinks menu needs a better selection but the bar accommodated my request, a bit pricey but it was worth it. The atmosphere was great to celebrate in.

I dined with Loch Bar for lunch during restaurant week. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Service between courses was very slow and I was surprised by that. Everything else was pleasant. I would go back to try the full menu.

I had the Restaurant Week lunch. My friend and I both loved the cream of crab soup. He had the salmon and enjoyed it. I had the hamburger. It was very big and difficult to fit in my mouth. I had to use a knife and fork. I didn't enjoy the burger that much. (I should have tried the shrimp salad.) The fries that came with it were pretty good. The service was very good.

One of my fave spots in Philly as a Baltimore girl I love seeing good seafood in the city and they are definitely top-tier. Customer service is always on point. I always feel welcomed and everything I have tried off of the menu has been amazing with no notes. I highly suggest the crab dip and the cheesecake. I am not a sweet person and the cake isn’t too sweet. It’s just the perfect amount. I will definitely be making another reservation here soon.
