Wow! First of all I was expecting the restaurant in itself to be small because of the looks of the entrance but I think it’s like a trick to fool you at first because once you get to the place in itself it is HUGE! And the vibes are amazing! The music is so good and just the right volume, the hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating, they have sitting indoors and outdoors and indoors/outdoorsy which is also a surprise factor. We started the evening with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and some of their Sweet Petites oysters. We the ordered a second round because the oysters were phenomenal but this time we went with (3) Bar stools and (3) Mamma Mia! (Yes, oysters that were also amazing SPECIALLY the bar stools!) Our server Valeria was a sweetheart and made the best recommendations for the oysters and the food, we were a little shy to ask but before we could even stress out about asking for the best dishes she read our minds and gave us an incredible walkthrough of the best items on the menu and popular amongst guests. We ordered the crab cake (it’s a classic, a must truly) and when I tell you all I could say throughout the entire night was WOW! I am not exaggerating at all, this place is incredible and I hope as a local you are definitely holding loyalty for it SEAFOOD wise because it really should be the only place you are visiting. The Crab Cake is usually two but we only got one since we didn’t know if it was going to fill us up and didn’t wanted to waste food THAT WAS A HUGE mistake we later regretted after taking the first bite of this amazing heavenly crab cake, never again eating this dish anywhere else. The French fries are also made from scratch and they are perfect NOT GREASY at all, right on point with the salt and crispy outside with a very good fluffy situation inside. Loch bar was without a doubt one of those spots you have been neglecting for a while not knowing the treasure hidden inside.

Theo our waiter was excellent! Very attentive and pleasant. Jeff, the manager was a delight and very accommodating. Will definitely be back here. Food was extremely tasty and well prepared. Only one thing that needed improvement was the sound level. Very hard to have a conversation as it was very loud.

This is our second visit in less than a week!! Excellent service by Cameron this evening. Tonight we went for lobster roll special and were not disappointed. The roll is rather stuffed with sweet meat. Sides could be fires or spring mix. A fairly priced bottle of Soave washed it down. We were able to sit outside and luckily under the awning cover. And i recently added the app and am earning points. A win win!!!!

We sat outside, luckily under a covering as there was a bit of rain and strong wind. Samatha was the best server. Frankly, every time we eat here, the servers are excellent. We came for half priced wine night and enjoyed a lovely french Bordeaux. We are able to customize our order which makes us happy. 3 of us started with the cream of crab soup…always gets a WOW…full of delicious crab meat. Then we order a 2 crab cake dinner with a side of salad and a 1 crab cake dinner with a side of french fries. Just perfect for the 3 of us. The crab cakes are like all crab meat. The remoulade sauce is wonderful and Samantha made sure we had plenty. The fries were well done as requested..what a difference that makes!!! And the spring mix is very tasty. A nice surprise this evening was a pop over type bread with an herb butter. It was warm and delicious….a perfect evening!!!

Loch Bar WAS on of my favorites in Boca. Last nights annual holiday dinner with friends was a disaster. Favorites gone from the menu, substantial price increases and public staff,management,kitchen disconnects. I watched my guests eat while waiting for my dinner. When I asked the server what happened,he blamed the kitchen, the manager blamed the server. I ended up splitting a crappy overcooked burger and a very overpriced crab cake. Best part … 20% added gratuity to an expensive bill for getting served a Martini and NO FOOD ! I loved this restaurant and hated writing this review.

This is a homey seafood house with great crab cakes and service. I have enjoyed every visit. For the first time we ate inside and the booth was very comfortable. All the servers and the manager are so nice and accommodating. We love it here!
