The Locavore experience brings a collective of passionate foodies, coffee enthusiasts and hospitality professionals together to create something pretty special. Situated the lower end of Lilydale in a beautiful heritage building, built in the late 1880s, we offer a distinctive dining & food store experience. Thoughtfully curated local produce, coffee roasted onsite and professional service makes for a truely transformative dining experience.

Cooking brings us together, and it continues to create communities ― and with community comes feelings of connection and happiness.
Locavore Studio is based on the concept of “Produced within 100kms of consumption”.
Sustainability moving into the future is at the forefront of our minds and we are taking important steps to look after our planet and community moving forward. With relationships with local farmers, specialty artisan suppliers and butchers, our goal is to minimise our environmental footprint as best we can for a better future.

The food was delicious and innovative. We had the 'feed me' experience which was a generous serving of yummy food that came to us at a well moderated pace. Service was friendly and attentive and we can't wait to come back.

Absolutely delicious. The mood, the music, the food, the wine. Just chefs kiss. My friend had the snapper and I had the pork, we also shared a side of beans and potato’s. Absolutely delicious. The only down side is I loved the Shiraz so much but I can’t bloody afford to buy it at Dan Murphy’s 😂 thanks guys, I’ll be back!

Love locavore. Such a beautiful restaurant in Lilydale. Food absolutely delicious. Great ambience and staff so nice. So good to have a great place for a nice casual night

Dined at Locavore Studio for Mothers Day and had a wonderful experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, there were no issues with a last minute dietary request. The food and drink were delicious. Even though it was a full house it did not feel loud or overstimulating. Will definitely dine again, thanks to the team for a great day.

The chefs selection special evening dinner was probably one of the best meals I have ever had. Plenty of food and fabulous value. The service was amazing and the food was simply sensational. Even for lunches, the food is lovely, but the chefs special selection evenings are out of this world.

What a special addition to Lilydale! It's a little more on the "special date night" price side but I actually think that's exactly what our local area was lacking! Delicious food and cocktails, and friendly service. We were a table of four and loved that the acoustics allowed us to talk and hear each other properly. I love that the menu regularly changes – makes us excited to come back again!

Amazing food. Do yourself a favour. Gastronomical delight. Took a friend for a celebratory dinner. She and her hubby are real foodies and were over the moon as we were! A touch pricey but fabulous food. Bit noisy with the high ceilings but hey acoustically it was fine with our booth. Attentive staff and fantastic food. Complimentary limoncello just made my friends day for her birthday so she was stoked.
