Service was not so good. Waited a long time for waitress to come to the table. Then took a long time for the drinks and food to come out. Waitress never really checked on the table lol

Pretty underwhelming. We live just a few blocks away, but it was our first time eating here. A bunch of other places we go to semi-regularly were fairly empty as we walked by, but Locanda Verde was nearly full and really hopping - a good sign normally! Service was a bit sluggish at first, no big deal for us. The appetizers were fine but our main courses left much to be desired. The roast garlic chicken was actually bitter, as if maybe they used too much raw garlic, not balanced by cooking or any other flavors. The roast duck was good though not medium as requested but closer to rare, and the farro concoction that accompanied it was just meh. The broccoli rabe was prepared so ineptly, incredibly bitter as well as undercooked. There's no excuse for such staples as roast chicken and broccoli rabe to be mangled this badly at a top Italian restaurant!

The clams spaghetti that night was so salty. I can’t even eat the second time they fixed the dish and it was more salty. I ended up not able to eat what I like. I came here many times all good except this night. I’m very disappointed.

I had the prime New York strip for $69. It was so tough that I struggled cutting it with the steak knife. Desserts were good.

The website menu was different from the actual menu due to ongoing kitchen renovations. As a result we were not really impressed with the offerings. The ricotta and the pastries were great, everything else was pretty forgettable which is atypical for this restaurant. Would’ve appreciated a heads up. Hopefully can get back to its usual level after renovation.

I’m never going back. The last two times the services was absolutely terrible, food took ages to arrive and they even mixed up the order. Twice as bad.

The host and wait staff were outstanding. All dishes were good. Sadly my pasta dish had no flavor but the pasta was fresh tasting and done to al dente perfection.

Really enjoyable brunch on Mother's Day with excellent service. Waiter was professional and knowledgeable and present.
