We LOVED our evening and LV. The food was excellent and service was wonderful. Our group ordered the salmon, cod and ravioli and everything was delicious. We have told others and plan on returning soon.

The food and ambiance are welcoming. My group had 4 of the 5 of us new to LV. Availability of the porch is nice (except for the occasional loud vehicle passing by). Pricing and options are good, food is fresh and well prepared, and the staff is attentive. Pasta portions are especially generous. You cannot go wrong at Locanda Vecchia.

Having met Michael Cetrulo in New York at Scalini Fedeli and also dined at the Chatham location, not to mention Scala del Nonna in Montclair, we were disappointed with the food at Locanda Vecchia ( our server, whose name I forget was terrific! After I told her how we felt, she actually comped us dessert and another round of drinks. Between the cooks and the presentation, it was not up to the standard we expected from a Cetrulo restaurant. We went for Mother’s Day and honestly, I come from a very picky Italian family but we all had a great experience! We’ve been here before and will definitely be going back!! The penne vodka is homemade pasta and to die for, I even ordered one to go! The prefixed menu had a great selection for the Mother’s Day menu also.

Delicious food, great service. I had the duck legs confit, my wife had the pork chops. Everything was great. Deserts were super.
