Locanda del Melo opened in June 2006 with the purpose of bringing to London our 25 years of unique experience in the Italian food industry.
Thus, we personally select and import only the finest quality products from small farms and producers throughout Italy. This ensures that our customers taste varied produce that is of the highest possible quality.

Absolutely one of the best, freshest Italian meals I’ve eaten. Having visited Italy many times this food was equally as good if not better than many. Greeted by the owner who was very nice and just loved explaining all the wonderful dishes on offer. The menu changes with the season making each dish as fresh as possible. There was about 6 tables at the back of a Fine foods deli. Basic set out but we loved every minute. We had a reasonable bottle of Gavi which was very nice . Service efficient and friendly. Food unbelievably good. We had 3 courses and didn’t leave feeling bloated just pleasantly full! Every dish was so good. Defiantly going back and highly recommended.

This little place is very cute. It feels like you stumbled on a little Italian eatery on a winters day. The food is homely flavoursome Italian traditional pastas and so on. Wine is affordable and decent. There is, I must add, the creepiest ham art I ever saw secreted in the back of the restaurant…. I will let you explore the unnerving concept yourself…

Great food, wine and service. And to top it all they allow dogs. Will definitely be going there again and again.

The food was excellent and we enjoyed all the courses.The only slight drawback is that the restaurant is very small and the tables are tight against each other. We ignored this so it did not spoil our evening.
