New Year’s Eve slop! We had reservations for 7:30pm. When I checked in at 7: 20, the host gave me the stink eye and said ‘it’s gonna be a while’so we went to the bar and waited until 8:10 PM to be seated. The food was cold and disgusting- I sent mine back (thank god) because 15+ minutes passed before they told me that my food still wasn’t ready. By now, my husband had finished his mediocre branzino and I was still waiting (the waiter said it was because IT WAS NEW YEARS EVE AND THEY WERE BISY)This was my third visit the first two were not quite as bad but since I’m local I thought I’d give it another try three strikes you’re out!

Food was great, waiter was very nice & attentive, but they gave us the worst table in the whole restaurant by the front door & left it open in winter and we were freezing. The table was also in front of their waiting area and people were staring you down while you were eating, so uncomfortable. I’d suggest requesting a booth. Food was so good, so it’s worth visiting, just get a better table.

Great service. Food is ok, but very expensive for what it is. Good cocktails, decent ambience. In SF, I’d give this restaurant a 3/10 but in Brentwood I’ll give it a 7.

The food was not great! We didn't realize that the menu had been switched and ordered the normal plate I usually do and found that it was completely different and I did not like it. It also took a very long time to get our food! We got our food after waiting an hour and a half. Drinks were great however my expresso martini looked like it had been drank from since it wasn't filled to the top of the glass. Won't be back any time soon.

We arrived early for our reservation and we’re quickly taken to a table inside, when we requested to go outside - were told, this is a lovely table. It was right by the kitchen door, and close to 2 large groups. The acoustics are terrible, we could hardly converse over the din. Our salads were served at the same time as our appetizer - already not ideal. They tried taking away our salad plates a few times before we were done. I went to use the bathroom with my salad not quite finished and when I returned after standing in line, my main course was already there barely warm. We complained to the manager and our server and both responded the same, next time you come in ask for me and we’ll try to do better. It was my husbands bday and since he asked for no singing to him, they didn’t bother with a dessert to celebrate. We were in and out in 45 minutes on a busy Saturday night. Husband has no desire to go back. Service was rushed, food just ok and the overall experience left us wishing we had stayed home. Definitely got the impression that if your are regular, you get better tables, service etc. Really a shame as the restaurant scene in Brentwood really needs some new players, but this expensive experience was way under par.

We have enjoyed dining at Locanda Capri since it’s opening. The food is authentic Italian and the menu is periodically “tweaked” so there is always something new to enjoy.

Food was good, our server Angelo was top notch. The only thing we did not appreciate, was, we were seated without menus, and we're ignored when we requested them.

Had a great date night on Christmas Eve night out, and although it was very busy (as it should be) every one was attending to us like we were the only customers there.
