   Authentic, tasty and reasonably priced. This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Moonee Ponds. Highly recommend.

   Was recommended to try this place out, so tonight we visited with family & it was Amazing! The spring rolls were the best I've ever had. Definitely going back here and soon.

   Delicious dishes that ooze flavour Lovely, warm, welcoming atmosphere. Affordable prices to match -Local Chook is generally a laid back place to catch up with friends and family. On both occasions I have been greeted warmly by the staff, meals were delivered promptly and efficiently. I highly recommend the vermicelli with grilled chicken. Absolutely delicious!

   What a fantastic surprise this place was! Completely full, but service was great. The food was amazing. Can totally recommend the dumpling nest, scotch fillet, barramundi & tiger prawns. The four of us shared everything. Can't wait to go back to sample more if the menu. Only down side - a little on the noisy side if there's a big group.

   We were both warmly welcome. At the time of our booking the restaurant was vey full. The staff were excellent. Noise level great and food fantastic.

   Food was very good but drinks were slow to be offered. We had a group of 7 and I advised it was a special event and confirmed on Sat. morning. However, when we arrived on time they seemed to have a mix up with our table and then said we had to wait while some couples finished. I think they gave our booked table to another group. They then cleared and put some tables together in the corner. It was a very hot day and the Airconditioning couldn’t cope. Being in the far corner by the wall it was very hot. It was also extremely noisy so we couldn’t hear to have a conversation. Not a real success although the food has usually been good.

    The food and service at Local Chook was absolutely amazing. We had the feed me menu and it was sensational. One of our friends has an allergy to sesame and they were able to accommodate her without any fuss at all. My only suggestion is that 1.5 hour sitting at 6pm is not enough time!!! Can you consider extending this... please. Keep u the good work. Rosanne
