My club sandwich was more difficult to eat than most. I had to deconstruct it beyond recognition. The chicken filling was tasty. The accompanying ‘salad’ was a small bowl of leaves with insufficient dressing.

We celebrated my sister's 40th birthday with a high tea before attending a performance. Every dealing we had with The Westin staff was extraordinary; from confirming our reservation and ensuring our requirements were met, to the friendly and diligent wait staff on the day. We appreciated that our request for a little birthday treat was accommodated, which really made the birthday girls day! We have enjoyed various high teas at other establishments, but this was the first time attending The Westin high tea in the Lobby Lounge. We decided on this venue based on recommendations and to be honest, we were a little apprehensive about the setting being a hotel lobby - but we are so glad we followed the recommendations! The Lobby Lounge wasn't overly busy or noisy; in fact the plush environment juxtaposed with the casual atmosphere created a subdued and comfortable day-time experience. Thank you again to all the staff involved in making the experience a memorable one.

Delicious food and yummy unlimited teas, was a little concerned about high tea in a lobby but was greatly surprised. Calm atmosphere, smelt amazing, comfortable and happy to give takeaway boxes when we couldn’t finish it all. Would happily recommend to friends 🤩

Expensive! The food was dry. The sandwiches were dry, the menu wasn't explained, the cakes were dry. Feels like every thing had been sitting out from when I booked the table a few days earlier. No sugar on tables. Cups were big, but this meant tea was cold by the time you got to refill it. We left more on the stand than we ate. Very very disappointing and this would be our tenth time at high tea in Melbourne and so far, the basics seem impossible.

I organised the Wicked High Tea for my sister's 60th birthday and The Westin exceeded all expectations. The food was varied and delicious, the ambience on point and the staff were courteous and attentive to all our needs. It all resulted in the most incredible High Tea experience and definitely won't be the last. Thank you so very much for making my sister's birthday a celebration she will never forget.

What a lovely experience. The perfect way to follow viewing a performance of Wicked. The decor is amazing, feels very luxurious. Service was excellent. Food not only tasted wonderful but was also a feast for the eyes, with all the green and Wicked themed tasty morsels. Loved it 💚

Honestly, for what the Westin charges for a theatre themed high tea, with the exception of the food it was really average. For my friend's birthday I booked for her to have free-flowing bubbles and it was never mentioned (at least we weren't charged for it). After we were seated, it was not made clear whether the drinks on the tea menu were included. When the food came, it was presented with a container of dry ice and the waiter asked us to wait for them to return before dining so they could presumably do something with it and they never returned! Some food items weren't on the menu but I was assured they wouldn't contain nuts per my allergy. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks, we were never seen to again aside from our plates being collected. The hot food was cold and the scones with jam and cream were really ordinary. The panna cotta was good and the lavender cake was interesting. If this wasn't part of a full day experience for my friend, I wouldn't have gone at all. Nothing special, really unfortunate. The only redeeming factor was the excellent live strings duo.

Our High Tea experience was fabulous! The staff at The Westin were attentive, kind, and happy to answer any questions. The food and drinks were delicious, and overall experience felt very luxurious and comfortable.
