The food was great, the service absolutely exceptional, our waiter Chris made us feel like royalty! Absolutely VIPs It’s not inexpensive, but the food is really good, and the menu great for vegetarians and omnivores alike. The space is stunningly beautiful. Everyone should eat there once in a while, at least!

Most everything was fine, but it did go sideways. We order a bottle of Silverado Cabernet Sauvignon. The waiter brought a bottle of Silverado Cabernet Franc. We did not notice until after we drink it and it was fine however, when we pointed out to the waiter, he got very defensive and said he was only giving us what he was handed, and then he proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the night. The Cab Franc wasn’t even on the menu so we just wanted to help them out

Another delicious dining experience at The Brown Hotel. I confess openly to being a true musselaholic. I didn't know they had muscles until I looked in on the monsters. Amazing atmosphere - like you have stepped back in time - from the service to the piano player. The food was excellent, and the service was even better. Highly Recommend.

Beautiful historic hotel with lovely piano music. Our waiter Kris gave great recommendations for dinner and was perfectly attentive. A must stop anytime we are in Louisville!

From start to finish a delightful evening. This was a girls night out with dinner and then a show at the Brown Theatre. We valeted our cars for free as diners:) You get 3 free hours! The wait staff was friendly and attentive but never hovering and we didn’t feel rushed. We had a glass of wine each and a petit Hot Brown and a Burger. Both were yummy and the fries were fabulous. The hotel is a little tired on the outside, but it was lovely. The Piano music was a little loud and his choice of music was interesting. Overall, I’d definitely come back.

Delicious as always. The Hotbrown was fantastic, and my husband's burger and fries were delicious. We order the charcuterie board and were not disappointed. We love to eat here when coming through Louisville.
