Finally came to the city and tried the famous Hot Brown. It was wonderful!

We had a wonderful dinner at the Lobby Bar and Grill. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was so amazing. It’s like having a meal during the 1920s or 1940s. The food was excellent. Our server, Michelle, was very attentive and met all our needs. We will be back.

First off, great service by the entire staff as always. Rob E. our waiter was not just a great waiter but a great guy to talk with. Rob gets 5 stars! We don’t need a menu except for cocktails. Two made with Bourbon of course followed up by a couple of Hot Browns and in what better place than the home of the Hot Brown. No place in the country does it as good or even close. Derby Pie to close out the dinner and a little more conversation with Rob. He needs to be doing voice overs on the side!!! Not my first review and most likely not my last one of dinner at the Brown Hotel.

Chris our server excellent in all aspects. Did not give 5 stars because hostess said she would come get us at the bar when restaurant started serving and she did not and bartender was not accommodating. Food was excellent.

A little disappointed with consistency- all 4 ordered the Hot Brown to try the Brown Hotels signature dish. Flavour was great but you had to look close to see that everyone had the same food in front of them. Sizes we a large range considering that it was the same table, one missing a grilled Tomato (part of the dish) and some boarded on burnt on the edges….. room to improve

My college roommate whom I'd not seen for some 30 years was passing through Louisville. He asked I show him & tell him about my Derby City. No brainer: supper at the Brown Hotel. The Hot Brown, the shrimp and grits, along with some sides and dessert were wonderful, as expected and as usual. Service was, again, excellent as usual. Although crowded and busy it was quiet enough to have a conversation and catch up. We were unhurried, left to enjoy our supper and our remembrances of thing past. My friend & I had a wonderful meal and a wonderful time, as I knew we would. After dinner, we walked down the street to the Brown's competitor for nightcaps; he being a huge Fitzgerald fan.

My wife and I thought it would be neat to try this historic restaurant. The atmosphere was exactly what we expected and the Hot Brown was so good! We would definitely come back.

Our waiter, Rob, was excellent! He was very polite and our food was amazing! Brussels sprouts, Seafood Chowder, and Brown did not disappoint! Chocolate Striptease dessert was decadent!
