Llerena takes its name from a little village in Extremadura, southwest Spain, where four generations of our family has raised Iberian pigs since 1939, producing authentic "Bellota" jamón ibérico, chorizo and other pork delicacies. Our family created a business around the farm called Jamón y Salud to sell our gourmet products and has now brought this exquisite taste of Spain to Islington with the Llerena Ibérico Tapas Bar. Not only can you sample ibérico pork grilled meats and finest jamón, but also creamy Torta del Casar cheese and other traditional Extremadura's delights as well as the best wine from our region.

Excellent choice of tapas - and all of them delicious and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding - friendly, helpful, efficient and speedy. A great place for a meal!

Authentic Spanish cuisine that is spectacularly tasty. Good for solo diners as you can sit at the bar or high table.

The dining area and toilet are all on the ground floor. The food was excellent - mainly familiar items , though no albondigas nor fabadas. There were a couple of interesting dishes, including teh vegetarian calamares, that was excellent. It was quite pricey - over £60 per person.

Amazing. Been twice in a week! The staff are lovely. They have regular live music, and the food is beautiful.

This is my favourite restaurant for Spanish tapas! Everything is delicious and the staff are extremely nice and friendly!

We had not been here before, a lovely restaurant, attentive staff and great food. A little bit pricy for a week night dinner but overall had a lovely time and it was not too crowded so you could hear each other speak.

We enjoyed authentic and delicious tapas, all at a reasonable price. This restaurant exceeded my expectations and I would certainly go again. Enjoyed :)
