Now Open!!! Under new ownership, local celebrity chef Billy Trudsoe who you saw on Hells Kitchen “battle of the ages,” season 21 on the Fox network has taken over this historic restaurant. You can try Chef’s world famous, “black forest chicken” his signature dish he presented to Gordon Ramsay. Also, his divers scallops which helped seal a big win for the blue team during a challenge. Chef Billy's team has developed an upscale casual dining concept right here, in the heart of Warrensburg , New York. Building his brand “BTrue’s Mad Flava,” our restaurant will offer creative dishes for everyone. Chef Billy is an award-winning chef, that has been cooking up delightful meals for his patrons throughout the Adirondacks for over 25+ years. Born and raised in Chestertown, New York he is overly excited for the opportunity to serve this community.     Last night was our first time at Lizzie Keays since the restaurant opened under Chef Billy Trudsoe a week ago, although we have enjoyed his food at Basil & Wicks. We had made a reservation for four on OpenTable so we were a little confused as to why we were seated at a table for 6-8 people but our waitress said the table they had hoped to seat us at was still occupied by earlier guests and they didn’t want to make us wait, which we appreciated. Our friends ordered the Lizzie Keays Salad to share and were pleased it came out already split into two plates. The entrees ordered for our group were the Sesame Tuna which was cooked perfectly; the Pork Ribeye which had amazing seasoning and delicious side dishes; and two of us ordered Diver Scallops which also were cooked perfectly and paired well with the roasted garlic cream. Although we were full from our delicious dinners, we were intrigued by the Pistachio Cake dessert so we ordered one with 4 spoons. It was so light with an almost mousse like center - very yummy! We definitely recommend you try Lizzie Keays!

    We started with baked brie and smoked wings, then had mushroom ravioli and black forest chicken and finished with pistachio ricotta cake, chocolate temptation, coffee, and tea. Each bite was spectacular. It's worth the drive from the Albany area. It's probably the best meal we have had out in a very long time. We will be back!!!

    This new spot is cozy and just the right size. The food was so good, and our server, Melissa, was so attentive & took care of every detail for us. We started with the dry smoked chicken wings - amazing sauce! My husband & I both ordered the Scallop entree with gnocchi and, wow! - huge diver scallops, prepared perfectly, and generous portions of them! The entire dish was so delicious & very filling! My MIL had the Wagyu burger, which was done exactly medium-rare as requested & she said it was very good. Chef/Owner, Billy Trudsoe, was walking through talking with the patrons & we enjoyed meeting him & hearing about this new venture, which had only opened 10 days before. This place is a gem & we look forward to returning!

    Our first time dining with the new owner but definitely not our last. We started with the Lizzie Keays salad with truffle Parmesan dressing which was large enough to share and full of fresh greens and vegetables. For entrees we had Black Forest Chicken and Beef Coulotte, both were perfectly prepared and delicious. Also included was warm bread with flavored butter and a sorbet course. Lovely atmosphere, and great cocktails. Emma was our server and was very attentive.

    We had a fantastic meal tonight. I can honestly say it was the best meal we have had "out" in years. We will definitely be going back. Congrats on opening. We wish you much success!

    We had a great night. Food was excellent. Our server, Emma, was personable and attentive. The owner served us our meals. It is evident he takes great pride in his work. We all enjoyed our meals. Would highly recommend

    We had the best date at Lizzie keays!!! EVERY SINGLE BITE WAS SO DELICIOUS!!! food is of great quality and our server Alyssa was the absolute best!!! So sweet and so knowledgeable of the menu and recommended dishes that were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! You will not be disappointed at all!!!!

    A great addition to the Warrensburg dining scene! We had the Black Forest Chicken, and Scallops — both cooked to perfection, after staring with delicious clam chowder and tuna tostadas. The experience of the waitstaff shows - and it was great to meet Billy!
