Now Open!!! Under new ownership, local celebrity chef Billy Trudsoe who you saw on Hells Kitchen “battle of the ages,” season 21 on the Fox network has taken over this historic restaurant. You can try Chef’s world famous, “black forest chicken” his signature dish he presented to Gordon Ramsay. Also, his divers scallops which helped seal a big win for the blue team during a challenge. Chef Billy's team has developed an upscale casual dining concept right here, in the heart of Warrensburg , New York. Building his brand “BTrue’s Mad Flava,” our restaurant will offer creative dishes for everyone. Chef Billy is an award-winning chef, that has been cooking up delightful meals for his patrons throughout the Adirondacks for over 25+ years. Born and raised in Chestertown, New York he is overly excited for the opportunity to serve this community. We ordered apps and entres. Everything was delicious . We had shrimp cocktail which came with 4 jumbo shrimp, tuna toastinins,--sushi grade tuna, succulent pork ribeye with mashed potatoes and cooked to order beef coulette with chimchurri sauce. The coulette was perfectly rare. Our server was on top of her game. This genm has only been open for 3 weeks and the owner, who spent some time with us, clearly is on the road to success. Lots to choose from- go and enjoy!

As expected from another of B True’s restaurants, the food was incredible. My son said the burger was the best he’s ever had. I thought the flavors on the Brie and chicken sandwich went together perfectly. Another favorite was the vegetable pasta in a Thai chili sauce. I’m definitely getting that next time. We loved seeing Billy Trudsoe working. He’s always so friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for delicious food in the Lake George/Bolton area, this is your place!

What a wonderful experience! Food was fabulous, service was excellent! All six of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the evening. Billy (the owner/chef) came out to our table and introduced himself, he was a real delight. Definitely recommend the place to anyone who wants to have a great evening

My husband & I dined with another couple (good friends) who, like us, enjoy good cuisine. Lizzie Keays did not disappoint! Reservation was easy to book and a necessity because the place was busy! We were greeted with smiles, immediately shown to a table, served fresh bread with a delicious lightly flavored cinnamon butter, and drink orders were taken & thoroughly enjoyed. My friend & I ordered the Black Forest Chicken; husbands ordered the Pork Ribeye. Everything was not only delicious, but beautifully plated. We were also served complimentary lemon sorbet as a palate cleanser. During the course of the evening, we observed owner/chef Billy Trudsoe serving and chatting with customers, including us. His attention to detail, choice of excellent and friendly, attentive staff, design of the restaurant’s welcoming and romantic ambiance, and the dining and drink selections are sure to make this gem a favorite choice for anyone who enjoys fine, but reasonably priced dining. For a newly opened restaurant, you’d expect a misstep or two, but we observed nothing but perfection! Even as we were leaving, Billy took notice of our departure and thanked us for dining there! We absolutely look forward to our next dining experience at Lizzie Keays.

Delicious risotto, chicken wings and Jja Jang Noodles. Food and beverages were overall outstanding. They just opened and everyone in our party would highly recommend.

Wonderful restaurant in an area where fine food is hard to find. The focus here is on quality, seasonal ingredients that are well prepared. The menu is eclectic, and it has a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options. The service was exceptional. The staff were attentive and friendly. Billy, the chef-owner, went out of his way to stop at our table to say hello and check on us. Everything was excellent. Highlights included the squash and mushroom risotto appetizer (they should offer this as a large plate) and my wife's scallops, which were perfectly cooked. Look forward to a return trip.

Last night was our first time at Lizzie Keays since the restaurant opened under Chef Billy Trudsoe a week ago, although we have enjoyed his food at Basil & Wicks. We had made a reservation for four on OpenTable so we were a little confused as to why we were seated at a table for 6-8 people but our waitress said the table they had hoped to seat us at was still occupied by earlier guests and they didn’t want to make us wait, which we appreciated. Our friends ordered the Lizzie Keays Salad to share and were pleased it came out already split into two plates. The entrees ordered for our group were the Sesame Tuna which was cooked perfectly; the Pork Ribeye which had amazing seasoning and delicious side dishes; and two of us ordered Diver Scallops which also were cooked perfectly and paired well with the roasted garlic cream. Although we were full from our delicious dinners, we were intrigued by the Pistachio Cake dessert so we ordered one with 4 spoons. It was so light with an almost mousse like center - very yummy! We definitely recommend you try Lizzie Keays!
