Really good spot, although it was very small. The Music didn’t need to be so loud for such a small space. Staff was super friendly and attentive. My fried rice and shrimp could have had a little more flavor and was a little hard. However, the people with me had Jollof and loved it. The Suya sliders were BOMB AF!

The dining experience was worth the cost. The fufu was so delicious. We’ll definitely return.

Very small space. The dj was great but the music was too loud. We had a new waitress and she was nervous but pleasant. Food was fresh, however, it was not coordinated to be served at the same time. My husband didn’t get his food until about 15 mins after the rest of the table, and it was all piled up on the plate. Not a horrible experience by far but could have been better.

Service was horrible and slow!!! Waited over an hour for food and drinks. Didn't bring food or drinks out together for my group to either eat or drink together. Mixes up orders.

New neighborhood spot and happy To support. I would suggest to the chef to cook the protein longer. The two starters ordered were the Turkey wings and goat skewers which were both chewy and inedible.

Was seated ten min before someone even offered water. Once ordering my grilled goat came out 20 minutes before my sides. Grilled goat was all bone.

Before reading please keep in mind that the restaurant has been open for less than two months so I do believe that are opportunities to grow. But I went to this restaurant over the weekend while the vibes were good the service and the food was not. The chicken suya was almost inedible and the chicken fried rice tasted like Chinese rice. We did not get our drinks (they tasted like juice and the bartender gave us an attitude for complaining about it) until after we had long finished our meals and our meals took over an hour to come out. The bill came out to almost $200 for two ppl and while the owner did comp us a drink at the end after we complained I wish there was an initiative that was taken beforehand without us having to complain since they knew they messed up multiple times through out the night. The best thing is definitely the music. It’s on the smaller side so it is definitely more intimate. I will probably try to try it again further down the road to see if any improvements have been made

Pros: -Food tastes great. -Drinks were good(not stingy on the alcohol). -Decor is very nice. -Music was good. -Prices are reasonable - Seated immediately Cons: -Waited too long for the drinks. -All water was bottled(Poland Spring 16oz) for $2. Water should be complimentary served from a pitcher in glasses for free if dining during lunch and dinner. -If dining outside of brunch time, everything is sold individually, meaning no entree combination choices with choice of sides. You have to choose and pay for all sides and mains separately. - The waitress doesn’t have experience and lacks characteristics a waitress should have. For example, soon as we were seated, she kept coming to our table to take the order. She didn’t allow time for us to look over the menu to decide our meals. She don’t know to read the room. Like let us figure it out. She needed to allow appropriate time to come take our orders not every 5 minutes and not be on standby by our table. Made me feel like I needed to pick anything just to have her leave us alone for a minute, felt rushed. - The waitress brought out the mains first but we waited so long for the rice. By the time the rice was served, it was warm and we had to have her take back the main to have it warmed again. - the jerk wings are very little but they are good. - the oxtails were so small, it was the end cut of the tail, not worth $25. Overall, this place has the potential to be great. It is new so I know there will be changes in the future. I will come back because the food is good and all the cons I listed is not really bad and can be fixed.
