Helmed by Executive Chef Bob Ryan, Little Sparrow is a neighborhood "continental" restaurant from Ford Fry. Inspired by Parisian bistros and Brooklyn’s favorite taverns, Little Sparrow picks up the mantle from its beloved predecessor, JCT Kitchen and Bar to serve the Westside in a new incarnation. Named in honor of superstar French chanteuse Edith Piaf (Fry’s Howell Mill Road steakhouse, Marcel, is named after Piaf’s lover, boxer Marcel Cerdan) the menu presents timeless Brasserie classics and simple, indulgent fare including an entire section dedicated to extraordinary "Frites." Dinner is framed by a top-flight cocktail program and a superbly curated wine list, as well as tableside service meant to make every guest feel pampered.

Ring in the New Year with a four-course, prix-fixe dinner from Executive Chef Bob Ryan. $145++ per person with wine pairings from Beverage Director Clarke Anderson available for an additional $55++ per person. Menu options include Yellowtail Crudo, French Onion Soup, Dry aged strip, frites for the table, and more! Desserts including blood orange cake, chocolate soufflé, and gateau marjolaine are the perfect way to tie a bow on 2024. There will be a complimentary sparkling toast when the clock strikes midnight.

Overall we had a great time. The onion soup, fries and bread are amazing. Burger was great. Disappointed with La Vie En Rose. Oversold. Glorified hamburger. The ricotta gnudi appetizer is tasty and well presented but overpriced. We would go back.

we sat outside where there were lovely warm heaters. I actually loved it more than sitting in the dining room. Yancy our waiter was amazing. So enjoyed him. Food... french onion soup is amazing - the bread and butter - so so good. the new "Lasagna" dish was so decadent with black shaved truffle on top that they shaved tableside. It was so good. the Frites are so good. I cannot say enough good things about the food and the service at Little Sparrow.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and while some aspects of the experience were enjoyable, others were deeply disappointing. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal—both the French onion soup and the frites were excellent. However, the entree, the Dover sole, was an absolute disaster. It was flavorless, dry, bony, and had an overwhelmingly fishy taste. I’ve had Dover sole many times before, and this was by far the worst. Honestly, a Filet-O-Fish from McDonald’s would have been a far better choice. Service also started off on the wrong foot. Waters were not refilled, leaving me feeling like I had to ration what little I had, as if I were in a desert. Adding to my disappointment, I came to this restaurant after seeing an advertisement on Instagram for their steak, which was also listed on their online menu. However, when I arrived, not only was the steak unavailable, but it wasn’t even listed on the menu inside the restaurant. It’s incredibly frustrating to see a dish advertised so prominently online, only to find it’s not being offered at all. While the appetizers showed some promise, the entree, service, and misleading advertising made the overall experience frustrating and disappointing. I hope they address these issues moving forward.

The service was great as was the food. I always enjoy the French onion soup (it is super cheesy)...my dinner guest order a red wine recommended by our server...his last sip at the end of his meal left him with a mouth full of sediment that surely was an awful ending of good meal. The server happened to witness his displeasure, apologized profusely and deleted it from the bill...I'm likely to go back, will check my red wine before drinking.

Wanted to reach out to let you know that last nights dinner at little sparrow was delicious! It was my first time there and I enjoyed every bite! We went for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. I did, however, have a complaint. The service was horrible. Especially for an establishment like yours. Coming from a background in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years and being in every position from cook, to bartender, server, and manager I know how hard the business can be. However, the server was never around. We had to ask for drinks from 3 different people, it took us asking 3 different people to bring us bread. She only came 3 times in the 3 hours we were there. I asked for coffee and it was brought after dessert was done and the coffee was cold. She was kind we really thought the experience was going to be good and we were suprised that she was not attentive at all. Even when we had to pay at the end of the evening, we had to ask another server and she then had the hostess to take care of it. Very disappointing. I was looking forward for our visit and unfortunately it was not what we expected.

It's one of the best French restaurants I've ever been to. Everything was amazing. The service was excellent. I wanted to order everything on the menu!
