Since 2003, Little Ruby’s Cafe has brought Australian cafe culture to New York City, offering approachable all-day fare, specialty drinks, and a full coffee program. Open for brekkie, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, Little Ruby’s Cafe’s beloved menu features the signature burgers, pastas, salads and brunch classics, all served in thoughtfully designed spaces.

Located on the landmark corner of West 4th St & 7th Avenue, our newest Little Ruby’s Cafe features an airy, multi-level space. A first for Little Ruby’s, West Village offers a full bar with an exclusive cocktail program alongside our classic menu with new dishes unique to the location. With an expansive terrace and sweeping windows, the West Village restaurant invites guests to absorb the energy of the neighborhood as they enjoy their morning brekkie or grab cocktails and dinner with friends.

Opening October 2023. Little Ruby’s West Village will be open 7 days a week for brekkie, lunch and dinner.

    more noise to contend with; hard to have a conversation without raising our voices. food was all right, nothing to write home about. wasn't as up to what we remembered from our prvious visit shortly after the opening.

    The service was poor. Our waitress spill water in every glasses she poured (in every single glass!!!!, we have 6 ppl so she spill water 6 times) and only said sorry without wipe for us. Soho location has better service. Also the food compare to the Soho location was not good. Nothing serves hot at all.

    We were seated 45 minutes after we checked in for our reservation, so it must have been overbooked a bit. When we were sat, our drinks came out promptly and so did the food! Everything was delicious and our dining experience was great, so was the ambiance. Our server was quite energetic and unfortunately dropped a bottle, which happens, but we think she just needed a breather since she was there all day. Overall great experience and will be back.

    Host stand was kind of a chaos, people with reservations waiting (including me) but everything else was great :) Blueys sandwich is so gooooooooood!

    We arrived at the time of our brunch reservation, but were not seated for at least 15 minutes. I understand that Ruby’s is very busy for both walk-ins and reservations, but I think they need to have specific sections dedicated to reservations to avoid this kind of issue. The food at Ruby’s is always great, but I don’t think I will return for brunch as it is too chaotic.

    This is my third visit to this location, after having been a loyal customer to the original pre-Reno spot in Nolita for the last 20 to 30 years. The menu remains excellent but the execution falls very short. Front of house is kind but seem overwhelmed. Our server vanished after taking our order. The drink was wrong and the correct one did not come for 15 minutes. The fries arrived cold. The egg/rice bowl lacked broccolini or whatever cruciferous veg it was supposed to have but was otherwise adequate — though temperature was again off. We may go back but they don’t need our business. It is full of people who I am generally trying to avoid in my neighborhood of the West Village. I am curious about the evenings there, though. Maybe the crowd is different, or at least the service is better. I still love the original location, I’ve had some great experiences in the Murray hill Rubys.
