Housed in a shipping container behind Platform Two of the old Folkestone Harbour Station, Little Rock is a spectacular new beachside restaurant just off the boardwalk before the entrance to Folkestone Harbour Arm. Explore the stunning indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Proud to serve fresh, local and seasonal fish and seafood, supplied straight from the day boats operating out of Folkestone Harbour and the surrounding Hythe Bay area.

Little Rock is a short walk away from the large Folkestone Harbour Arm car park. This is on the site of the old harbour port and currently costs £3.40 for up to 2 hours and then £1.70 per hour for up to 8 hours. All day parking (over 8 hours) costs £14. Prices subject to change.

The nearest train station is Folkestone Central. Little Rock is approximately a 25-minute walk following signs for Folkestone Harbour Arm.There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Old High Street serviced by Stagecoach buses 72, 100, 101 and 102. Folkestone’s main bus station is in the centre of town, approximately a 15 minute walk away.

Had a fabulous afternoon celebrating my husband’s birthday. Sun was shining, weather warm, food amazing - the prawns and sea bass were the best we have ever had.. Great choice and service with a smile. All in all a fabulous time and would highly recommend. Thanks to everyone at Little Rock we will definitely return.

A charming little restaurant right by the beach. We brought our small dog along and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly.

Two of us had a good meal ( mussels and mackerel). I had fritto misto which was overcooked and every component tasted the same Unimpressed.. given such a short menu. A complaint at the time and a follow up email has yielded no response from management.

Had a lovely meal here on 29th August, helped by the lovely weather and outside table. Service was great without being pushy and the food was first class. Not cheap but worth it for a treat

Best lunch experience and food on the south coast. Get the Garlic & Chilli Shell-on Prawns...you won't be disappointed. I didn't want them to end.

Romana and team were brilliant. Sadly marked down as no mussels and champagne was £75 a bottle. It was nice, but value bearer £55. BUT having on site loos a game changer !!!

For food, we found the menu simple to understand - we chose fish from a 'Catch of the Day' list that had around 5 options. The accompanying sides and greens/salads were also simple. Ingredients were fresh and we loved the infusions in the sauces and dips that came with the dishes. For drinks, we chose a bottle of the Wild Life Botanicals (Blush) from Cornwall and absolutely loved it. We will be ordering a few bottles of it for Christmas. Service was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and on hand to answer questions. We thought this was good value for a special dinner treat. We love that Folkestone has Little Rock as an option that's slightly fancier than the options in the food court (Goods Yard) but not as expensive as pricier establishments for seafood dining in Folkestone. The location (with indoor and outdoor seating) was perfect for enjoying a lovely summer day - although I expect it gets busy if the only option is indoor dining. Be sure to book ahead!
