Housed in a shipping container behind Platform Two of the old Folkestone Harbour Station, Little Rock is a spectacular new beachside restaurant just off the boardwalk before the entrance to Folkestone Harbour Arm. Explore the stunning indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Proud to serve fresh, local and seasonal fish and seafood, supplied straight from the day boats operating out of Folkestone Harbour and the surrounding Hythe Bay area.

Little Rock is a short walk away from the large Folkestone Harbour Arm car park. This is on the site of the old harbour port and currently costs £3.40 for up to 2 hours and then £1.70 per hour for up to 8 hours. All day parking (over 8 hours) costs £14. Prices subject to change.
Public transit
The nearest train station is Folkestone Central. Little Rock is approximately a 25-minute walk following signs for Folkestone Harbour Arm.There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Old High Street serviced by Stagecoach buses 72, 100, 101 and 102. Folkestone’s main bus station is in the centre of town, approximately a 15 minute walk away.

Weekend brunch just got better with Bottomless Brunch now available to pre-book! £37.50 per person which includes your choice of main course and unlimited prosecco, mimosas or Bloody Marys. Service was quite quick, weather was nice so sat outdoors. Nice atmosphere, however furniture could be a bit better for comfort. Seafood platter was nice but could have done with less mussels as a bit out balance. Scallops were cooked and seasoned nicely. Catch of the day was sea bass which melted and paired everything with a nice wine. Lacks dessert options. Overall good experience, would eat here again.

This has got to be one of the best places on the South coast! There is absolutely northing that lets this little restaurant down. The team is utterly fabulous, the menu is bursting with flavours, all cooked to perfection and the wine list has some great choices too. It's a must and dare I say every bit as good as its big sister Rocksalt!

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Food was great. Will definitely return. Shame summer is over and we’ll have to vacate the terrace.

It must have been good because we went back the following night! The lemon sole was excellent and i would strongly recommend the restaurant if you like sea food.

There are breakfasts and there is Little Rock breakfast. The seared scallops on sourdough was among the top 3 breakfasts that I have had all year. The taste was spicy and bursting with scallop umami yet light enough for breakfast. The preparation was on point. The presentation was outstanding. Service was friendly as usual. The seaside location couldn’t be beat. Despite having eaten here dozens of times, Little Rock continues to surprise me. 👍

Fabulous food, amazing cocktails, wonderful views, and great staff, Kasha, Ramona and the team always make you welcome. I would certainly recommend the dressed crab, and the chilli prawns, definitely Little Rock's signature dishes. Catch of the day never disappoints, I often have the skate but on this visit I had the Dover Sole which was an absolute delight. Looking forward to my next visit... ❤️
