Housed in a shipping container behind Platform Two of the old Folkestone Harbour Station, Little Rock is a spectacular new beachside restaurant just off the boardwalk before the entrance to Folkestone Harbour Arm. Explore the stunning indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Proud to serve fresh, local and seasonal fish and seafood, supplied straight from the day boats operating out of Folkestone Harbour and the surrounding Hythe Bay area.

Little Rock is a short walk away from the large Folkestone Harbour Arm car park. This is on the site of the old harbour port and currently costs £3.40 for up to 2 hours and then £1.70 per hour for up to 8 hours. All day parking (over 8 hours) costs £14. Prices subject to change.

The nearest train station is Folkestone Central. Little Rock is approximately a 25-minute walk following signs for Folkestone Harbour Arm.There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Old High Street serviced by Stagecoach buses 72, 100, 101 and 102. Folkestone’s main bus station is in the centre of town, approximately a 15 minute walk away.

As ever the food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and excellent quality; service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended, great casual dining venue in a great location.

Staff were friendly with good service and the right attentiveness. There was a good choice of fresh fish which you could even choose your own and choose how it was cooked. However I was disappointed with the fish soup, and you need to remember how salty samphire is, I felt it was too much with the mackerel and butterbean dish, but others may not. Though my dining partner chose well, the starter scallops was delicious and the battered cod cheeks and skin on fries was very good. For dessert we shared the Knickerbocker Glory. The atmosphere was good a pity it was so windy as it would have been nice to sit outside.

Had a lovely brunch on Sunday with great service, ambience and food with a lovely birthday plate for my wife. We will definitely be back!

Dear Little Rock team, We wanted to express our sincere gratitude to the creators and owners of your space as we absolutely loved the restaurant and the food. We traveled all the way from London to try your much-advertised cuisine and enjoy the magnificent views. However, what disappointed us the most was the behavior of one of your team members, Polly. While we understand that everyone may have their own personal struggles, Polly's conduct throughout the evening ruined our experience with her racist behavior. We observed her interacting differently with other guests, which further confirmed our concerns. She was rude, reluctant to serve us, and even brought a used cup with visible red lipstick stains. When we kindly asked for a replacement, she returned the same cup, having merely wiped it. Additionally, when we asked her a few questions, she responded rudely, asking, "Which question am I answering?" She also seemed displeased when we wanted to change our table, although her colleague ensured we were comfortable and satisfied with our seating. Another male colleague brought pencils and a coloring book for our little one, which made our hearts melt. No matter how good the location is or how perfect the food can be, it is always the people who make the difference in the restaurant and hospitality industry. We hope our feedback will be discussed further with Polly to ensure that other guests do not receive such poor service and awful, racist attitudes. We will of course be back to your restaurant but perhaps have courage to ask Polly not serve us again. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Delicious food, excellent service, wonderful decor - really felt like we were somewhere exotic. What more could you ask for? Not the cheapest but definitely worth the money. Good quality rarely comes cheap

What a wonderful place. Incredible view. Lovely decor & ambience. Brilliant customer service. I ate there twice in one day. The moules & frites were divine. The seafood salad was a bit disappointing. A bit like a big seafood cocktail. A lighter more original dressing would have been more enjoyable making the seafood the stars of the show.

Delicious food, lousy table particularly as I'd requested a table near the window, when we arrived they were all reserved.
