In January 2020, Little Madrid Tapas Café opened in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood, a small, cozy, and colorful space. The restaurant transported guests back to Old Madrid with its warm atmosphere, delicious flavors, and enticing aromas that emanated from the kitchen. With a global pandemic raging around the world, Little Madrid Tapas Café remained a steady presence in the neighborhood and soon emerged as one of the best Spanish restaurants in Chicago.

The place was very intimate, and so cozy as any old restaurant in Spain, the food is 100% authentic, I felt just like home, my Madrid, this restaurant made me feel in my favorite restaurant in Barrio Salamanca in Madrid!

Service level was better than anticipated, servers wearing jackets, adding some formality to the atmosphere. Our first time. Sat on sidewalk on a pleasant evening. Hope to return soon.

Delicious food that was plated beautifully. Great service that was very friendly, helpful, and fun. We will be back!

Wonderful food and a great night out! Apparently only part of the restaurant is BYOB now; so perhaps check into that when making reservations.

We ate at the bar yet the entire staff was very welcoming! The food was so authentic; we thought we were dining in Spain. The toritilla and the calamari were our favorite dishes but everything was good and the price point is very reasonable. I wish they would add lemonade and ice tea to their non-alcoholic drink menu. They have outdoor dining which is always a plus in the summer.

I made a reservation for 10:00pm. Arrived at 9:55pm and the restaurant was closed. I won’t be attempting to eat here again.
