In January 2020, Little Madrid Tapas Café opened in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood, a small, cozy, and colorful space. The restaurant transported guests back to Old Madrid with its warm atmosphere, delicious flavors, and enticing aromas that emanated from the kitchen. With a global pandemic raging around the world, Little Madrid Tapas Café remained a steady presence in the neighborhood and soon emerged as one of the best Spanish restaurants in Chicago.

Food was delicious!! I was here for the weekend from Los Angeles and I loved the energy of the place and the food was amazing! Our server was so nice and attentive. The pállela for 2 was delicious!! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!!

We had a delightful evening! The service was very pleasant and accommodating. We tried a large variety of menu items, and everyone was happy with our meal. They are no longer BYOB but everyone seemed to already know aside from us! I’d very much recommend Little Madrid.

Such delicious food and kind staff! Fernando was so helpful and cordial. Definitely get the croquettes!

Good service. Portion size good for tapas. Food quality was to a high level. A hidden gem - would/will eat there again.

Increible servicio! la paella Nera deliciosa! Cada plato que probamos fue una maravilla. La sangria fantastica, hasta lis chupitos !

I have been looking for a good Spanish restaurant in the chicago area and have tried other more "known" places but hadn't quite found the right place until I ate at Little Madrid Tapas Cafe, the quality of the food here is exceptional. We ordered around 7 different tapas and every single dish I was just executed perfectly. Everything was extremely well balanced and so delicious. The food is very authentic, they even have tinto de verano which is hard to find in other Spanish places! I heard that the Spanish consulate gets their events catered from here, so thats definitely speaks to the authenticity of the food. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and just an overall pleasure. Highly recommended and cannot wait to go back to try the paella!
