This stylish but unpretentious restaurant on Gloucester Road is well known for its friendly staff and home-style Indian cooking. Situated close to the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park, it’s perfect for a post-shopping lunch or an early evening meal with friends. The chefs prepare familiar favourites like lamb pasanda and chicken jalfezi using authentic spices and traditional recipes so you can be sure they taste just as they would in India. We love their tandoori mixed grill and their signature dish – Naga Chicken, a dry dish cooked with fragrant spices and naga chillies for an extra kick. This was an exceptional find as my wife and I were visiting London for the first time. After an extensive walk and tour of Hyde Park and Kensington Palace we were famished and relied on OpenTable’s recommendation for Indian food in the area. This location was convenient, the staff was friendly Anne the food incredible. If you’re a fan of North Indian cuisine you’re ate the right place. Portions were plentiful and at a fair price. Not a single thing I would’ve changed about our visit. Highly recommend!

Food was nice, but not much for the price paid. Small location and we were moved tables midway through our meal. Be aware that if your waiter asks if you would like papadums at the very end of you ordering, they are not complimentary, but instead from the “sundries” menu and you will be charged for two per person plus a selection of chutneys. They tasted excellent, but be aware as this was a change we were not expecting.

We came across this restaurant on open table by accident whilst spending weekend in Kensington-what an amazing restaurant perfect little gem, service, food and staff was very attentive and an amazing evening perfect evening thank you little India and all your staff. We will be back very soon

Skip this place. The food was sort of mediocre for me - even basics like tikka masala. The ambiance is lacking, the service is to match. If you’re in the area for Indian food just was a couple of minutes to Light of India down the street.
