Opened in Chicago’s bustling West Loop in 2012, Little Goat Diner is Chef Izard’s second venture with Boka Restaurant Group. It is the neighborhood spot for enjoying breakfast all-day, sharing coffee with friends and indulging in the diner staples you loved as a kid—along with creative takes on the classics. There are many ways to enjoy the light-filled space including a 140-seat diner, a bakery churning out house made breads, cakes and treats, a coffee shop featuring Dark Matter coffee creations, a lively bar with cocktails and local beer selections, a private dining room with a rooftop terrace and a wide variety of classes and events.

Went for brunch, and food simply was not good. The savory dishes were too sweet and were just kind of gloopy. Left hungry because neither I nor my guest could stomach 2 of the dishes. Server took nearly full plates away without asking if we liked the meal. I was excited to try this new edition to the neighborhood (and have enjoyed other of the “goat” restaurants), but this place was a major letdown.

Excellent menu (can't wait to try more), a super knowledgeable and funny staff, awesome location with a unique atmosphere - we will be back! You should check it out too!

This was my second time at this fantastic eatery. I’m not sure what they do to their food to make it taste so good but the flavors absolutely pop when you tuck in to your plate. I had a burger, cheese fries and nice soft serve dessert. Our server was perfect and I can’t wait to go back again.

Service and ambiance were notably superb, on a Wednesday morning it was delightfully quiet. Food was AMAZING and unique.

The staff were all wonderful. The service was speedy. The water glasses were never empty. The food was outstanding - we shared the Tonkatsu Pork Sando, fries, the Fat Elvis pancakes, and some fresh sausage. Highly recommend.

The food for the price was NOT worth it. $20 for a sad little sandwich on a giant plate. $20 sandwich AND I have to pay an extra $9 for fries?! Get outta here. The $12 milkshake was substandard. It tasted like soft serve McD milkshake. We also tried to order cookies but they were all sold out (on a Friday at 5pm?!) the americano was nice and the chickpea salad was huge and worth the price. Overall, I would never return and with all of the great restaurants on Southport would encourage others to seek food elsewhere.
