Little Goat Diner, located in the vibrant Southport Corridor, is your go-to neighborhood spot, helmed by award-winning Chef Stephanie Izard. Enjoy all-day breakfast, weekend brunch, coffee catch-ups with friends, and your favorite lunch and dinner classics, all with Chef Izard's creative twist on new all-day favorites. Plus, bring the little ones! Kids eat free every Tuesday from 4-7PM, making it the perfect midweek treat for the whole family. We gladly accept walk-in guests. Thus restaurant is so cute! Loved the vibe and they have excellent customer service. However, I did not enjoy my food at all. The French toast and chicken was just not good to me.

always a joy to dine here! upbeat energy and delicious food and one of the only places in chicago where you can enjoy breakfast for dinner with a cocktail.

Delicious & delightful dinner at the diner: Our waitress described details of the menu before we placed our order! It was a Real Treat to be at Little Goat during Restaurant Week. We had 4 tasty courses for a great value! The trout was Fabulous!! Shrimp salad, green beans & ginger soft serve were dreamy! Happy the diner is in the Lakeview hood & I hope a Ravenswood spot opens:) then I can walk to it!! Thx!

I went here tonight (2/7) with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. We got there at 5:15 for our reservation. Our server was great, as was the food. After an hour, we were wrapping up when a manager came up to our table and asked us if we could pay, as they were trying to flip tables. We had been there for one hour, no more. There was a person in the booth next to us that had been sitting there by themselves for longer than the two of us had been there, but the manager did not say anything to that person. Overall, a really nice experience was completely ruined by being rushed out. This is not a cheap restaurant and we weren’t staying for an excessive amount of time. I have never been pressured to leave a restaurant, and this just soured the whole experience and was very rude.

Honestly have loved everything we’ve tried here. Most recently, we’ve loved their Chili Crunch Chicken and Dumplings, the Shrimp and Grits, the This Little Piggie (not universally loved by our table but those that liked it, loved it), and the Spiced Apple Pancakes. The Sugargoat Fry Pie is unbelievably amazing and a must taste. In terms of cocktails, the Goat from Ipanema is a fun spin on a pina colada and is not too sweet.

Always a fun, innovative dinner. We enjoyed the restaurant week deals - the shrimp salad, green beans, beef stew, and always the ice cream! Good neighborhood spot, if a little pricey.
