A restaurant, wine bar and fermenting kitchen - we're open for lunch Wednesdays to Sundays and dinner all week.

Our menu changes monthly and our cooking is simple and seasonal. It's here we make all our seasonal ferments, pickles and drinks - all of which you can buy ready jarred from our fridge.

Our large kitchen counter is the centrepiece, and you’re invited to grab a seat, order something to eat and enjoy the workings of life in our kitchen. In the evening, the lights go down, dinner is served and you can enjoy wines by the glass and bottle from our ever-changing wine list of natural and biodynamic wines.

I don’t usually write reviews but from someone that works in hospitality, i genuinely don’t expect this kind of service; couldn’t book a table inside (fair enough) but managed to book for the ‘terrace’.. The Terrace… 4 tables outside no even covered and with a small amount of space in between, everything was uncomfortable. Food super pricey and not an attentive customer service, tried to make eye contact with the waiter to get a second drink which I never managed to order plus took a lifetime to get cleared and to order dessert. I won’t come back.

Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had out in London in a while! The food is fresh and seasonal and so delicious! They provide classic menu options with a slight twist that adds to the flavour! The food was well balanced and spicy (but pleasantly so). The inside has a dimly lit ambiance which is cosy and outside (where we sat) was lovely on a sunny day! If you choose to sit outside, the location must be near emergency services, as several cars passed us with sirens, you also do run the risk of being approached by homeless folks asking for money, which isn’t the fault of the restaurant but worth keeping in mind when booking. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, however my one critique would be that, as we were outside, towards the end of the evening we did feel a little forgotten about. Overall a really beautiful evening out and I can’t wait to revisit!

Had a fabulous lunch here.First visit and was very impressed with delicious food.Great presentation of dishes packed with flavour and excellent combinations.The service was friendly and attentive .Don’t take note of any bad reviews.This place is a great find and I encourage you to visit.Thanks for a sumptuous lunch !

Really lovely spot, just would appreciate the possibility to not be made to feel guilty about going to enjoy the wine selection with a friend, and not ordering dinner (& we were mindful to book an early evening slot on a weeknight for that specific reason - perhaps a specific section in the booking process to signal the purpose of the booking, so the restaurant can plan perhaps?)

Nice place!! The mussels and lemon sole were amazing and rest of the plates were ok, but lovely orange wine.

I think we must’ve come on a bad night as the menu sounded lovely but every dish didn’t taste right, the flavours just didn’t seem to work together and each dish just wasn’t quite right, for the price of the menu this was really disappointing. The wine list was way too expensive - you’d expect a slightly more expensive wine list from somewhere like this but the prices were way too high, to not even have a slightly more affordable ‘house’ wine was unusual, I have been to a lot of other restaurants that have similar menus and their wine lists start much lower. The service was really slow but it looked like they were under-staffed on the night we went. As I said I think we caught it on a bad night because there seemed to be so much potential. We would’ve stayed for longer and got more wine and desserts but the service was just too slow. Such a shame. This restaurant felt like it was trying to be a lot like all the other trendy restaurants in London right now and just didn’t deliver.
