LITTLE BARN
Simply executed, yet expertly prepared, the flavorful and approachable dishes at the Little Barn bring the local Maine farmstead and fisheries to the table. It is a fantastic way to experience the amazing food and service for which the White Barn Restaurant is known.

Enjoy our Provisions menu along with Chef Mathew's daily menu board, featuring ever changing local favorites. Our Chef comes to work at the The White Barn Restaurant and he comes to play in the Little Barn.

Mood is relaxed and casual.

Fabulous experience. The lobster pasta was amazing. Would love to dine in the main restaurant one day.

The Little Barn is adjacent to the Big Barn and a bit more quiet and intimate. The food was fantastic and service great. We will go back the next time in Kennebunkport.

Our food tasted very good but was served improperly. We ordered the baked Brie. The bread was colder than room temperature and the Brie was lukewarm. As it should have come directly from the oven it should have been piping hot. We ordered the lobster and linguine special. The pasta itself was hot but the sauce was not even warm. It too should have been hot. The taste was good, the pieces of lobster were pea sized. Overall very odd and disappointing. Alicia was our server. The service was very good. Upon leaving we waited 10 minutes for the valet to appear. We even whistled loudly to get someone’s attention. Finally, we resorted to retrieving our key ourselves, walked to our car and left. Again, very odd.

The vibe of this place is lovely-warm and cozy on a rainy Maine evening, The service was professional and friendly. The food itself was fine-nothing to gush about but solid. There is valet parking which was nice and the Inn itself is lovely and opulent.

My wife's and my experience at the Little Barn Restaurant was first rate. The service was most attentive and professional, while making us feel right at home at the same time. We enjoyed the lobster tagliatalle and pan seared salmon immensely, both paired it seemed with the perfect choices of accompanying wines. We would not hesitate to recommend this dining gem to anyone.

What a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal. Great service, especially little touches (I love that they let you taste the wine when you order a glass!). Started with Bibb lettuce salad, fresh, delicious. Hangar steak was excellent. The special, miso-marinated cod, on sticky rice with bok choy and ginger sauce was sooo good. Key lime pie was a great ending to the meal.

The menu was limited for dinner choices. Unfortunately, the chicken pot pie was not available any longer. We both ordered the Steak Frites, and the cut of meat was awful. There was grizzle throughout and I was unable to chew it. The sauce on top was a chunky texture and not the best flavor. We expected much higher quality of food. The piano music and atmosphere were lovely.

Service was pretty bad - but our server was working the entire room. Food/soup and pastas were tepid temp - grilled cheese paninis had very little cheese on them and bday cake was dry. Overall - pretty dang bad!!! Was expecting much more!!!!
