We were travelling through Calgary and had a craving for Italian. Open Table directed us to this incredible gem of a restaurant. Service was attentive, friendly, and incredibly charming. The food was beyond superb. Perfectly dressed and presented salads, a lamb shank to die for, and a gluten free accommodation for me of the creamy mushroom dish that had my non-wheat allergic husband gobbling up what I couldn’t finish and also declaring it delicious. The selection of wild mushrooms in a delightfully peppery sauce that remained beautifully light for a cream sauce was sublime. The wine recommendation was perfect. The desserts were lovely. I don’t often go for such superlatives but we were transported. A perfect evening of food and atmosphere!

An amazing reincarnation by Lina’s!!! We remember Scoppa fondly and this brings us back there in modern and exciting way! Bravo!!!

Good food made with quality ingredients at a reasonable price. Lively noise level but not unpleasant. Both the pizza and calamari were top notch. Anticipate dining here again in the near future.

We have been loyal customers of the Lina's market and associated restaurants for years. The Lina Trattoria is what has been missing in the Lina's pedigree. The restaurant serves authentic traditional Italian food made with fresh ingredients. The al dente seafood linguini and mushroom pappardelle (wider would be even better) are not to miss. The Napoletana Veg Machine pizza was refreshing. The cioppino and Fritto misto were also executed nicely. Service and management (Pablo) were great and welcoming. Not to forget is the tiramisu... yum yum. We will be back in a few days... :-)

The meals were the best my wife and I had in quite a while. The Salmon and the lamb shank were delicious. The staff and atmosphere were superb. Just like in Italy.
