Located only a short 1-minute walk from Leicester Square tube station and 5-minute walk from Covent Garden tube station, LIMA CANTINA brings you a true taste of the Peruvian capital’s buzzing local food scene: what Peruvians love to eat and drink! LIMA CANTINA is born out of a desire to bring the soul of LIMA to London: its flavoursome daily life, with simple dishes directly inspired by markets & home cooked meals. The restaurant’s chefs use traditional cooking methods to transform quality UK and Peruvian sourced ingredients into mouth-watering dishes. The menu delivers classics such as Pollo a la Brasa (arguably the national dish of Peru and possibly the best roast chicken you’ve ever had), whilst retaining signature Ceviches and Pisco Sours, and many more Lima locals’ favourites. The restaurant’s vibe is warm and modern with a hint of nostalgia. I have been 3 times to LIMA Cantina. I've always loved the experience. The service is exceptional and the Quinoa salad was divine. I will be back!

Considering Lima is a Peruvian restaurant I would expect the ceviche to be far more delicious than it was. I would also expect them to make better disco sours - it was far too sweet!

The restaurant was pretty empty. The staff were very attentive. Some of the food was absolutely delicious (corn ribs, beef taco), some less so (quinoa salad). The pisco sours were wonderful. The meal was way too expensive.

as a Peruvian, I know we can be a little bit picky with the food but honestly the pollo a la brasa was really good. if I ever go back to London, I will definitely go back to Lima Cantina just for the chicken.

We were catching up with friends over a meal and Lima Cantina made the whole experience really enjoyable. Service excellent without being intrusive. Menu explained with out being patronising. Food complex but simple and delicious. Admittedly Lima has been a favourite for some years - so we could be bias.

Baked beef empanadas is the winner. The pork ribs is slightly on dry side. Loved the cocktails. Staff is friendly.

Early evening dinner for two. Arrived when restaurant was empty except one another couple and were sat next to them. Limited non alcoholic drinks options was very disappointing. Food tasty but service wasn’t great, they didn’t seem to listen and so had to repeat order and then tried to clear whilst we were still eating. Didn’t appreciate the 12.5% tip being added.
