LIMA CANTINA brings you a true taste of the Peruvian capital’s buzzing local food scene - what Peruvians love to eat and drink! LIMA CANTINA is born out of a desire to bring the soul of LIMA to London: its flavoursome daily life, with simple dishes directly inspired by markets & home cooked meals. The restaurant’s chefs use traditional cooking methods to transform quality UK and Peruvian sourced ingredients into mouth-watering dishes. The menu delivers classics such as Pollo a la Brasa (arguably the national dish of Peru and possibly the best roast chicken you’ve ever had), whilst retaining signature Ceviches and Pisco Sours, and many more Lima locals’ favourites. The restaurant’s vibe is warm and modern with a hint of nostalgia. You’re encouraged to share always; bring your friend, neighbour, and colleague for an authentic and unpretentious all-day dining experience.

One of the best restaurants in London. Peruvian food is nowadays everywhere, but this place provides the best quality. The service was also amazing, really nice people despite we had the dinner quite late (considering London standards)

We visited on a Monday night pre theatre from 6-7pm. Service was very attentive and nice decor. Sadly the food left much to be desired. The menu was confused - guacamole, tacos, corn cake - these are Mexican. The starters were alright - nothing dazzling but tasty. Besides the ceviche (it was alright) and the pollo asado (we didn't have this) nothing else really screamed Peru, or Lima. The mains (we had the chef selection - lomo and octopus) weren't what we hoped for. The octopus was served on mushy curried potatoes (so random) which we tasted but didn't eat and the lomo, which came with white rice, tasted Chinese - not bad but definitely not Peruvian (a cuisine we know well as we have visited Peru and have family members from there). All for a hefty bill of £140 (one pisco sour each). Sadly we will not be returning nor recommending this restaurant.

Fantastic dinner at amazing venue. Lovely food, quick service and very friendly. The ceviche and ribs were amazing Celebrated a birthday and they surprised with a lovely plate and candle. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Innovative menu. Everything was flavoured very well and nicely presented. I loved the corn cake and the fried dough dessert very much. The ensalada looked like something I could throw together at home so not impressed with it however the passionfruit dressing was tasty
