Located only a short 1-minute walk from Leicester Square tube station and 5-minute walk from Covent Garden tube station, LIMA CANTINA brings you a true taste of the Peruvian capital’s buzzing local food scene: what Peruvians love to eat and drink! LIMA CANTINA is born out of a desire to bring the soul of LIMA to London: its flavoursome daily life, with simple dishes directly inspired by markets & home cooked meals. The restaurant’s chefs use traditional cooking methods to transform quality UK and Peruvian sourced ingredients into mouth-watering dishes. The menu delivers classics such as Pollo a la Brasa (arguably the national dish of Peru and possibly the best roast chicken you’ve ever had), whilst retaining signature Ceviches and Pisco Sours, and many more Lima locals’ favourites. The restaurant’s vibe is warm and modern with a hint of nostalgia. Our waitresses were outstanding and the guys at the bar prepared us great cocktails!(They make an incredible pisco sour).We were celebrating our anniversary and even though we didn't order a dessert because we were stuffed the team prepared us a beautiful dessert to wish us happy anniversary! So thoughtful and sweet, we'll be back! Food is on another level compared to other Peruvian restaurants in London, thank you! Mel&Harry

Been here for many years (as Lima Floral and now Lima Cantina) but shrinkflation taking a hold. Lomo Saltado with just 5 tiny pieces of fillet for £29 but lots of vegetables and potatoes to make it look larger. Ceviche with much less fish. Also need to buy bottles water as was told that their tap water is unfiltered and taste is not great. They seem to push the bread on you (bread in a Peruvian?!) to fill you up. And, one of my pet hates, pushing the service charge up to 13.5%. Sorry, it’s been a great ride, but for one posco sour, food that left you hungry and at £60 a head, saying “adios” to Cantina.

Delicious food and drink and very welcoming service. We had dinner here before a performance at the Noel Coward Theatre. We can't understand why the restaurant was not packed. Perhaps you haven't discovered the deliciousness of Peruvian food? Come have a Pisco Sour and the La Brasa Pollo, the perfectly seasoned potatoes, the sweet corn cake! And save room for the Picarones (donuts) for dessert and the smooth Peruvian coffee. Great meal.

Great friendly service. Food arrived a little too fast and then a long wait for the bill. All dishes delicious, not cheap but great food.

Our experience at Lima Cantina was excellent. Both the food & service was fantastic. I highly recommend. Only confusing thing was the bill, which had service charge already added, yet the restaurant asks you to add service charge again when you pay the bill.

The staff was the highlight. Very attentive, very knowledgeable. I think the restaurant should do everything possible to keep this team. Amazing. Food and drinks were also really good. A rare find in the west end.
