Breakfast served 7am-11am. (Tue - Fri)
Breakfast served 7am-10am. (Sat, Sun)
Lunch served - 12pm-4pm. (Tue - Fri )
Garden Hour - 3pm-5pm. (Tue - Fri)
Dinner served - 5pm -10pm. (Last seating 9:30pm).

The tea started with no one greeting me at the door and had to ask around a bit to locate my daughter. The person who served us mostly talked with other staff and didn’t really make our visit pleasant. A bright star was the gentleman who assisted in clearing our table. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and super friendly. The sandwiches and scones were a bit dry… the decor is beautiful throughout. It totally made up for the shortfalls. I’m not sure if I’ll go back.

First off, I had to put something for food and we did not eat. However, prices were very high and there is a 4% add on charge for health plan of employees? Not my problem. Cover their plans or pay them more. Not customers responsibility. So, review, we show up 15 minutes early and the hostess was unwelcoming and not helpful. Instead of saying, hello with a smile and sure, I can seat you, as there were many tables open, she says, "well I have you at 530, sit in lounge and have a drink." Well, we did sit there for 15 minutes and no one came to take our drink order. Finally, we were seated and we sat at our table for 15 minutes with no napkin, cutlery, and no one approached us to offer water or take any type of order. No one even greeted us. So, we got up and left and I expressed my concerns to the manager. I will never to back.

Hi Peter, First and foremost we want express our sincerest apologies. Our manager did speak with you and your wife about the service and the above was addressed here at the restaurant. We do have a reservation tomorrow for your wife and a friend, and did ask to invite you back so we could show you a better experience. We know that tomorrows service will be a better and are terribly sorry for what you experienced at your first visit. We have addressed this with our host and are coaching them on better ways to accommodate our guests while they wait for their table. The food was great. The cocktails were good. The service was definitely lacking. They appeared to be severely understaffed. Everyone was pleasant and professional there just wasn’t enough of them.

Went for dine LA and felt they were overwhelmed. Service slow, but friendly. Food underwhelming. Very nice room and music was good. Stupidly expensive wine list. Had to ask for a bottle list and there was not one bottle for less than $90!!! Small selection - wines by the glass same price as fancy cocktails - too much!

Two friends and I came for the DineLA family-style dinner, $55/person, 7/12-26. We learned that family-style meant everything on the menu is shared among three people, even the thin crème brûlée. The restaurant went beyond to accommodate our dietary concerns, even giving an extra dish without cheese. Food was delicious! Love the garden patio ambiance. Service was friendly, but slow between courses and getting our bills. When our server disappeared, we asked where our server went and was told he was on break. Other servers had to fill in. Narrow women’s restroom stalls except the handicapped stall. Nice decor inside the hotel. Parking in the Culver Hotel or street parking. Whimsical lion and ball fountain outside the hotel. 4% wellness fee will be applied to the check.

My friend celebrated her birthday and loved every minute of her breakfast at Lillies. The service (Ben) was attentive, the food delicious, and the setting special. It's my favorite place to take friends.

To begin with, there were 4 of us and we were seated at about a 30 inch table which was perfect for 2 but way too small to serve lunch to 4. Service was very slow even though it was not crowded. The food was good but an error was made on one dish and it was taken back to the kitchen to be corrected. It was slow to return and appeared to have been combined with the plate of fries that was originally served separately with it. Perhaps the wait person noticed how crowded the table had become? The food was certainly not abundant and we felt it to be overpriced for the amount we received. We felt bread should have been served with the mussels for dipping (as it usually is). We then ordered a baguette for $12. It was slow to arrive (we were nearly done with the mussels). When the bill arrived we found we were overcharged for the baguette ($14). Mind you, this was a really small baguette. To be fair the wait person offered to fix the charges and even offered to comp us with dessert but we were ready to be gone from there. We left feeling we would not return. Too bad.

Pleasant open space that is relatively quiet with light music. Furnishings are a bit rundown – little things like stained chairs, napkins with holes, and picture frames that should be adjusted mere inches. High Tea was very ho hum. The mixed berries were tasty, but would have preferred them after the high tower. Sandwiches were nice especially the chicken salad. However, all the pastries were too sweet. The scones were massive in size and very doughy/heavy. Definitely would benefit from the “less is more” concept. Also, everything was the same shape and size. Not as elevated as I would’ve hoped.

The dessert presentation of the fudge cake was horrible. It looked like a leftover. The band on July 5th was mediocre and too loud for that size of a restaurant. Our server was great! Otherwise, the food was quite good. But come on, for those prices you can up the presentation.
