Lilac is a modern Mediterranean restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef and California native, John Fraser. Lilac exclusively offers a 4-course prix fixe menu featuring signature elements of Chef Fraser's mastery of Mediterranean cuisine explored through the lens of Floridian coastal produce. Open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, the dining room’s walnut flooring and the warm glow from the pendant globes create an elevated, convivial space focused around an eight-seat Christian Liaigre chef’s counter in sandblasted walnut and a lively open kitchen. Taking its cues from Fraser’s Greek heritage and his admiration of Turkish cuisine, Lilac’s balanced menu is a celebration of the chef’s vegetable-forward philosophy using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.

Absolutely fantastic. Food was tremendous, the wine paring was impeccable, the service was excellent. 15 top small environment with an open kitchen is also very cool. The only knock against it could possibly be that it's adjacent to a very loud bar. Highly, highly recommended

This place was absolutely stunning. We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday with his family, and every one of us was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional, blending traditional flavors with a delightful Mediterranean twist. We will definitely make it a point to return again.

Not worth the hefty price of $150+ pp (prix fixe) when you are dining in a hotel lobby next to a bar. There should have been a dress code, as we were seated facing a man wearing a baseball cap, basketball sneakers, shorts and a T-shirt! Were we in McDonald's??? Disrespectful. Our drink order took a good 15 minutes to arrive. The food was tasty for the most part, but not outstanding or worthy of the price. The portions were quite tiny and a grown man will leave hungry. If you wanted a filet mignon, pasta, Dover sole, etc. there was an upcharge of $30+ The lamb dish was presented with two small chops and some garnish. We ordered a side of potatoes and that was another $18. We had the Truffle pasta (additional $35) which was excellent, the Salmon (overcooked and small) and the Dover Sole (for an additional $30/$35) that was very good. We averaged over $300 p.p. (without even a bottle of wine). Prepare to leave hungry and unimpressed. There is better food to be had in Tampa. Spare yourselves. May I add that we don't mind spending the money, but it should be worth it. This wasn't. We had dinner at Ponte the night before and it was outstanding from start to finish.

I first signed here because I heard the chef had earned the Michelin star. He deserves at least two. This restaurant has the most fabulous food in the area. It’s one of my favorite restaurants on the entire East Coast. Everything is so creative. There are fantastic combinations of flavors and ingredients. The staff is also exceptionally welcoming and friendly. This is a must try experience in Tampa for dining.

Our meal was absolutely worthy of the Michelin star that the restaurant was awarded. In addition, our server Jeremy may well have been the single best server we have ever had and my wife and I have been blessed to travel the world and to eat in many highly regarded restaurants!

The food was interesting, some taste and a little research, but the ratio price/tasting experience was not that good. And how can we be in 1 star Michelin in a room that looks like a train station hall, noisy, where my wife and I could almost not talk without neighbors bumping in our chairs our able to hear what we discuss.

Delicious fare comprised of some Lilac classics and seasonal treats. Wonderful wine pairings. Contemporary ambience.

It was a dining experience that I would recommend. Service was excellent, and I loved the atmosphere. Some of the food, such as appetizers were amazing, more so than the main course. We enjoyed a drink and the views on the roof top before dinner. Overall experience on a Friday night was great.

Lilac provided an exceptional dining experience! The food and cocktails were nothing short of amazing, each dish and drink offering a unique and delightful experience. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening. We absolutely loved our time at Lilac and can't wait to return!
