While I understand we are at the beginning of off season this was just plain bad. A single server for the entire restaurant.. I took nearly 30 min to get our drink order with two plastic cup drinks costing over $12 each. We ordered an appetizer that came with the rest of the meal that was nearly an hour after we we're seated. While the food was tasty it was oversized both in content and price. Overall we will not be returning..

All was very good! Food good! Marko was a very happy and nice person. The hostess was very kind too!

Made reservation for a Thursday night, first night of our stay at the Margaritaville Resort on Lake Conroe in Texas. When we arrived, we found that the restaurant is not open on Thursdays. The restaurant confirmed the reservation with a text message the day of our reservation. So, we had to go elsewhere. We did eat there the next night and it was mediocre at best. To start with, we asked for glasses of Prosecco, and they were out of it. Then, we asked for a specific wine that is listed on their wine list. They were out of that as well. In fact, they were out of nearly all wines. Finally, they found some Prosecco at one of the other restaurants on the resort property. We ordered fries with our steaks, and they arrived without fries, but with beets! When we inquired, our server said fries are not an option on steaks. I said we would pay for them, and they brought us fries—which the server said would be no charge, which was nice. Overall, it was average at best. Not likely to return.

They were not able to substitute tortilla chips for plantains. Weird. Don’t put Cajun seasoning on a poke bowl. Steak was like a boot. Waitress was sweet.

Awesome decor, great service. Menu and food quality was very good. Portions were big and a bit overpriced. Good wine and drink menu.

Very nice ambiance but poor service. We made reservations online & they couldn’t find them. We waited about 15 minutes before being acknowledged by the hostess & then waited another 15-20 min to get seated. They ran out of shrimp. They forgot one of our entrees and it arrived about 15 min after.

The food was great! We had the breakfast buffet and we’re grateful it was all so delicious and fresh. The coffee was hot, fresh, and delicious as well.

Even for a resort this was way over priced. The food tasted okay. Our server actually approached us ten minutes later and said she forgot she had us. The food runner brought us our appetizer, then asked if we wanted small plates to share. He then came back with one plate. I'm at a loss here for service. Ambiance was nice but that's the only real positive.

Not impressed with this location. There were dozens of black flies hovering our table. Absolutely no substitutions - when we asked to switch the sweet potato’s, to the au gratin potatoes the waitress stated the charge would be would charge $14 for a side of potatoes! Absolutely Ridiculous. Towards the end of dinner our waitress seemed to have forgotten about us. We will not be going back.

Nice breakfast….limited menu! But what we had was good! Our server must have been new….took forever to even get coffee. Nice decor!
