                                  This was the second time I’d gone to the Library Bar and it was just as good as the first time! The device was excellent as usual, with our server being very personable and bringing me a sweet birthday treat. He even remembered our faces, saying he knew we’d been here before even though he wasn’t our server last time and the last time we had gone was 6 years prior! We went right when it opened so it was very quiet but the first time I had gone it was in the evening so it was very busy and both times were equally enjoyable. The food was impeccable, as usual. We enjoyed the steak locke (my personal favourite), the grilled salmon, and the maritimer which were all delicious. I can’t wait to go back!

                                  Cocktails are creative & delicious. Great wine choices by the bottle. The steak tartar and prime rib sandwich were amazing. Service is highly attentive, professional and friendly. Absolutely superb. The decor and restoration is this iconic bar is really well done and adds to the experience.

                                  I love the Library Bar for the setting. The food is delicious. Usually the service is a bit faster, but more importantly the room is not nearly as ice cold as it was yesterday. I know it was hot outside, but unless you’re providing parkas, I don’t think the room temperature should be cold. Or tell diners ahead to wear a sweater and a jacket or blazer. i’ll come back in October when the temperature isn’t as frigid.

                                  Been to the Library Bar many times, always have a great experience. Service was great, food was equally good. This time was a pre- Blue Jays game lunch on Canada Day. It was not busy, but the bar was fully staffed. Had a great time

                                  Magnificent! Incredible, attentive service in a comfortable setting with an variedunch menu. Our open-face sandwiches arrived quickly and were totally scrumptious, and filling. What a treat to see books on display on shelves filled with other items of interest. To be repeated!
