The food here was delicious, and our waitress was very friendly. The ambiance was nice and the way the menus light up when you open it is very cool. Prices were on par with other restaurants you go to I just wish they had a little bit more food options to choose from, but it’s a steakhouse so makes sense. Bottom line I’d recommend for any couple looking for a nice spot to sit down, eat some good food, and enjoy your date night meal.

Husband and I was celebrating our 22 anniversary, we explained the celebration on the open table request , on arrival we was seated agains a hidden wall 1/2 inch away from an other family nothing romantic about the place or the staff acknowledging it was special occasion it was just a normal dine in and out experience, I will definitely come back wearing just jeans as everyone else did , not a place for an unforgettable celebration, just a casual eat and go home . Food was really good and the server and cleaning guy was outstanding .i would recommend to acknowledge customers request on the open table ,couples anniversary are moments to remember year after year this was our 22 year .

5-Star Review: Liberty Prime Steakhouse - A Perfect Anniversary Dinner My wife and I recently celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Liberty Prime Steakhouse in Jersey City, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality, which set the tone for the evening. The ambiance was upscale yet comfortable—perfect for a special occasion like ours. We started with a few cocktails from their impressive drink menu, and the bartender did not disappoint! The flavors were well-balanced, and the drinks arrived promptly. We indulged in their steak for dinner, which was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and exactly how we liked it. My wife had the filet mignon, and I opted for the ribeye, and both were delicious. The sides complemented the meal perfectly, especially the truffle mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. The portions were generous, and everything was seasoned beautifully. To top it off, we ended the night with a decadent dessert, and they even surprised us with an anniversary touch, making the evening feel even more special. Overall, Liberty Prime made our anniversary unforgettable. The excellent service, delicious food, and a romantic atmosphere make this restaurant a must-visit. We will be coming back for future celebrations!

This is a wannabe nice place. The bathrooms are dirty and don’t look around the restaurant because everything is broken, old and dirty. Even the speakers playing the music were shot and making broken speakers static noise instead of music and really loudly. We seemed to have some language issues with our waiter who got multiple parts of our order wrong because of lack of communication and I don’t think he spoke English too well. Food was average at best but with a very high price tag. We order both of their large prime steaks medium and one came out rare and the other well done. Drinks tasted good but were very small. I would never eat here again nor would I recommend anyone eat anything there.

Gven their pricing comparable to top NYC steakhouses, I expected much better. Their aged bone-in ribeye barely had any of the funk one would expected from a dry aged steak. The meat was not very tender either. All the apps and sides were very heavy on salt so they mostly went to waste. Our waiter's English was not great and misunderstood our order. Fortunately, he took the wrong sides off the check but this should not happen at a restaurant that presents itself as high end. The wines by the glass had minimal description (i.e., California Cabernet Sauvignon, Argentina Malbec). Again, one would expect more at a pricey steakhouse.

The steak was very inconsistently cooked through out. The risotto had very little flavor. A food runner brought out our food then we didn’t have anyone come to table for about 30 mins. We were unable to ask for sauce and get refills on our drink. It wasn’t until I had to flag someone down once they finally walked back over into view that they came over. Several other steakhouse near by they offer a significantly better experience.

I didn’t enjoy the food here. Me , my husband and my daughter all had our steaks cooked at the incorrect temperature. By the time we received our steaks the kitchen was already closed. We ended up taking it home and cooking it to the correct temperature such a bummer. I really wanted to love this restaurant

The fruit flies on our food and in our drinks really impacted our ability to enjoy dinner and focus on celebrating. The wait staff was great and moved us but the flies followed. Steak was delicious.

We have been here in the past & food has been fantastic. This time not so much. Applewood Bacon was so thick & fatty. Lobster Mac n Cheese was not tasty and lobster was hard. Steak Frite was chewy and it was rare. Way too expensive to have this experience. We won’t be coming back.
