Located on the Chesapeake Bay at the base of the Bay Bridge, Libbey's Coastal Kitchen + Cocktails is the perfect place to enjoy breathtaking views, gorgeous sunsets , fresh local seafood and hand crafted cocktails. Unfortunately, we do not take reservations for any of the outdoor seating. If tables are available when you arrive, we will be happy to seat you outside. While pets are allowed when the Below Deck area is open, we only allow SERVICE ANIMALS ( not pets or support) in the upstairs spaces.

3 of us ordered the mahi tacos. The plate came with a serving of pretty good coleslaw and 2 very skimpy tacos. Each shell contained some shredded iceberg lettuce and a strip of fish about the size of an index finger. We had asked the waiter if the fish was blackened prior to ordering. He said it was not, rather it was grilled. That suited us, as we are all sensitive to spicy things. He did say that the sauce was somewhat spicy and offered to put it on the side. We all accepted. When the tacos arrived, they had been in fact been blackened, with a large dose of incredibly salty seasoning. Due to time constraints, we didn’t send it back, but struggled to eat the fish. The sauce was unusable, for the same reason. I do not recommend this dish! The other diner had a cobb salad, which was fine.

The view is spectacular, and the food matches it! My wife and I always make it a point to come here when we have time away from kids. We love to sit back and enjoy the sunset!

I have been to Libbey's a few times but this is the first time I have eaten inside since they rearranged the dining and bar areas. We were seated in the bar area at a low 4 top. Even with the shades down it was very hot next to the window and the air conditioning was inadequate. There were not enough servers (our server was also tending bar) and service was fair. The noise level was loud (as expected in a bar) but we were 3 adults and a 3 year old so it was too loud for us. The food was very good - Mahi Tacos, Smoked Salmon Salad and Snakehead Bites - all very good. Will most likely try again - perhaps on a weekday!

Thank you for your review. The bar area is shared space where the bartender also serves surrounding tables. Saturdays are particularly lively here at Libbey's, so we hope to welcome you back soon for a 5-star experience on another day!

Flies inside. Broken window shades. AC could not keep temps tolerable near windows. Why go here if you can't enjoy the view because it's too darn hot to enjoy your meal with a view? If you go, just sit outside in a shady spot - at least you might get the bay breeze. They didn't seem super busy, but service was pretty slow. Food was OK, but not spectacular.

Somewhat of a disappointment. Service was abysmal. Server was very nice and polite, but we never saw her again until our meal was nearly over. Flies were swarming inside. We may visit again in the fall when it will be nice to sit outside, then again maybe we won’t. The menu was not very exciting either

Enjoyed lunch at Libbey's. The menu /food is consistently on target. Pan seared scallop appetizer, fish bites and chili sauce were delicious. Great seletion of desserts.

We sat outside on a beautiful weather Father's Day. Service Ok, food good, service ok. Cocktails ok. Ambiance view beautiful.

We dined in the upstairs outside deck. The views of the Chesapeake Bay are amazing. We had the tuna Poke , fried green tomatoes and snakehead fish bites, which were delicious. My husband had the mussels which unfortunately he said were tasteless. We will return but will stay away from the mussels.
