LG's is a modern Irish American Bar & Kitchen in the heart of Old Town, Chicago. Offering evening meals, weekend brunch, and a variety of daily food and drink specials, LG’s Bar & Kitchen is the premier hotspot on Wells Street. Carrying a diverse selection of craft beers and cocktails, we pay particular attention to our Irish roots and love of Irish whiskeys. Diners can enjoy a variety of globally influenced dishes that are approachable, yet delicious. With an expansive TV selection, guests are welcomed into the best gameday location in Old Town. When the lights go down, LG’s features the best DJs in town, spinning all your favorite tunes. In the warmer months, LG’s has a full pet-friendly patio. We at LG’s like to say, “come for the food and stay for the party!”

Our weekly events include:
- Bingo Night on Wednesday at 7pm
- Trivia Thursday from 7-9pm
- All Day Happy Hour on Friday 12pm-7pm
- Brunch on Saturdays & Sundays from 11am-3pm

Good food, good service, good location. I had the Strawberry Salad and Bavarian Pretzel (which is huge). Both were great. Restaurant is super cute. Clean bathrooms.

This was a great spot for Sunday Brunch. Nice weather allowed patio dining. Food and service were very good.

We were sat outside and it was really nice. The brussels sprouts were really good!

The servers and bar tender were fabulous and super attentive, the host seemed to have an attitude and kind of rude.

Great place to watch March Madness. Service was great. VERY loud with a DJ in the afternoon, hard to talk.

I went with my young nieces and there was a live DJ. The host/manager was so kind and turned off the speakers by our table. We really appreciated his kindness!! Also, we all loved our dinner.

They had a nice menu, a good variety, and the food was really good. My vegetarian friend got the half sandwich and soup and was even exceptionally happy with it. We just all enjoyed it. They have some specialty cocktails, too, really just a few extra-special things plus items for the less adventurous in the group. For ambience, it's more sports bar than anything else, but that's what we were looking for. I will advise anyone who wants quiet that this isn't the right spot. We were only just able to converse with each other. But, again, that's what we were looking for and thought the place was just perfect for our needs. We loved that it was decorated for Halloween, too. It was just kind of a fun place.

The service was absolutely terrible. I’ve been going to LG’s for years and this was the worst experience by far. Probably won’t return. Our server was not polite, friendly or even slightly accommodating. We asked for a few special requests, one was asking for the mimosas to have the orange juice on the side or even just no juice, and she would not offer that even though they have done this many times before. She also would not let anyone modify their food orders, which is crazy. My friend asked to add sausage to his omelette. They had sausage on the menu but would not add it to the omelette. Even though he was willing to obviously pay extra for it. In a city full of great restaurants, you have to be accommodating to customers or you will never survive. This server just seemed like she didn’t know how to use the computer system and was unwilling to even try.
